RST S1 CE Mesh Textile Jacket - Black

Rode for ten days in 30 plus degree this jacket performs brilliantly, we also had rain the inner jacket kept the rain out and kept me warm, unfortunately while away the pocket developed a hole, so on return I contacted the sports bike shop, returned on the Saturday and new jacket with me on the Wednesday so well impressed, also this jacket has nice sturdy zips on it, a very happy customer.

The airflow is fantastic—perfect for warmer rides—while still feeling sturdy and protective. The fit is spot on, and the design looks sleek and modern. Great value for a CE-rated jacket. Highly recommend for summer riding!

Bought for an upcoming trip to the south of france, but it's been really welcome with the recent heatwave we have had, nice and light and you can feel the air coming through when moving, fots really well and zips to my trousers for safety, no back protection as there is a huge vent at the back but I took one out of another jacket and put it in the pocket for it, not had the need to use the inner jacket yet all in all it's a great jacket for the money and received with the usual good service from sportsbikeshop

We have become RST fans over the years, RST apears well made and never disapoints, Add the excellent service and price we recieve from Sportsbikeshop its a great outcome.

This jacket is very smart and well made comfortable fit there is a pocket for back protector but not supplied.

I have tried this jacket in 28 degree's C and it was fantastic. It is lightweight and gives great airflow and has a good level of protection. In my opinion this is the difference between having a good summer ride and a great summer ride. Quality is great and fits really comfortably.

Waterproof inner liner with a mesh outer. Perfect for summer in England

Love the style, fit and comfort on the hotter days. I haven't tested the liner in rain yet but it doesn’t do much as a windproof liner which is a shame.

Good fit and the removable liner is good for keeping the chill off until the day warms up. Plenty of mesh areas over the jacket to keep the rider cool. I think it would benefit from having a zipped gusset at the wrists, but this is a small critique which doesn't detract from the performance of the jacket. A major attraction for me was the full length zip to connect to trousers. Many nowadays just have a short connection zip at the back or even just loops to thread a belt through.
I'm very happy with this purchase.

Good looking jacket. Comfortable to wear. Many complaints about cuffs being tight but I like that feature, will keep cold air and water out. Surprisingly breathable with liner in. Not great but good enough. Only complaint is the waist adjustment. There should be more Velcro along the side. I can’t tighten it up to where I want because I run out of velcro. So the midsection is puffy looking. Overall though I’m happy with the purchase. I can add some velcro myself.

I haven't tried this out yet as it's a tad cold outside. However, the quality is obvious and what you would expect from RST. The fit is perfect for me. Comfortable and snug whilst allowing more than enough movement. The removable waterproof liner is a bonus with our unpredictable weather. My only gripe would be that in this day and age, a back protector should be included as standard rather than having to purchase it separately.

My first mesh jacket, bit my first jacket from RST.
Usual RST quality with some added cool, quite literally. Fantastic for the hot days we get and still feel like it would protect if the worst occured.
Overall I'm pleased with it. The waterproof liner is a pointless thing as with all internal liners, they may hold the wet away but the cold gets through either way. I carry a waterproof over jacket in case things get moist.

Always worn full leather jacket but this is defo what you need to keep cool in the summer. I give this a 5 star .

Well made jacket, spent 5 miles after leaving skegness making sure coat was done up that's how much air was getting in wife thought it was hilarious, would buy again.

Bought this after a week of sweating my hooligans off, weather then went off as well - doh! (my bad). However it's come back to good heat so have used this jacket now in sunshine, heat, humidity, and light showers. I have to say I'm well impressed with it in those conditions especially good inner weather proof liner (arms sweat however if sun comes out after raining) just have to stop and take it out, good excuse for a breather (no pun). Jacket is light weight and fits well and I must say I don't experience the Velcro issues of it sticking to everything like I do with my other RST jacket, good design here RST. Sat behind a fairing and visor it's really good to get any air flow through to the torso so good on ya RST. Also looks really good. Price was good too and good on ya Sportsbikeshop supporting service workers. I'd give more than 5 if I could. Finally good protection rating for this good of mesh jacket.
