Reviews Oxford’s cargo-style denim riding jeans deliver discreet looks, stretchy comfort and solid protection for everyday rides
Customers generally appreciated these AAA rated jeans, noting their durability, comfort, and true-to-size fit. Some found the fit slightly oversized, suggesting sizing down. The jeans featured discrete armour that felt lightweight, even with their substantial build. While they looked like regular jeans and suited casual environments, users highlighted the stiff initial feel and suggested longer boots for coverage when riding. Some customers preferred these jeans over comparable products for their mix of style, comfort, and protection, all at a commendable price point.
Excellent quality. Only 4 stars because they are a bit wide in the leg so the knee armour looks a bit angled. Maybe I should have gone for the slim fit instead of straight.
Very comfortable on the bike.
Obviously heavier than normal jeans - but you wouldn't say looking at them when worn.
More airy than your trousers from a 2 piece suit and didn't try them in rain yet.
Very comfortable and will be my go to for work commutes and summer blasts
Really pleased with these. They fit well and can be worn over my boots. Very comfortable and great for warm days as they let a breeze flow through.
Nice jeans and a pretty accurate fit. I found the knee and hip armour quite bulky though and swapped out for some D30 I had. As all my Oxford gear I am not disappointed,
I like it!
They look like normal black jeans
Look like regular jeans and fit very well. Not too slim, not baggy ad the bottoms go over the boots. They must be good as the are my second pair as the first are too tight for my expanding waist. They do come up large so 32 for a 34 waist fits me perfectly.
As usual, superb service from Sportsbikeshop.
Feels like a quality product . I’ve only worn them twice since purchasing to writing the review. They feel comfy and are a good fit .
These are the second pair of these jeans I have purchased due to weight loss,so have worn these jeans for two biking seasons very comfortable to ride in and walk in very tough and well made and the armour sits just in the right places very pleased
They feel like normal jeans, except from having double sections of material in the backside and the knees.
I bought the longest version, they could do with being even longer for the freakishly long legged like me.
OXFORD PRODUCTS SEEM TO BE GETTING BETTER ALL THE TIME. THESE ARE A GOOD FIT AND NOT BAGGY AROUND THE WAIST. I ORDERED MY NORMAL SIZE AND THERE IS A BIT TO SPARE BUT NOT MUCH. DEPENDING ON WHETHER YOU WILL BE WEARING THERMALS UNDER THEM AND YOUR ACTUAL WAIST SIZE - BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF - YOU MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER NEXT SIZE UP. THE THING I REALLY LIKE ABOUT THESE IS THAT THE HIP ARMOUR STAYS IN PLACE AND FEELS SOLID BUT IS NOT BULKY. MATERIAL SEEMS GOOD AND TOUGH AS WELL. LEG LENGTH OK AS WELL.
Tried multiple pairs of jeans on and kept these. Good armour level, comfortable and smart enough to have to not change when I get to work
Passable as regular jeans. Ideal for warmer days.
Great fit. Armour barely visible.
Wash well.
Great Value, fit is a bit baggy but when worn with a belt or braces does the job.
A generous fitting pair of jeans which come in various size leg lengths. These fit over my motor cycle boot tops so any rain fall will disperse away. Highly recommend
I like the fit, the texture and the style. They feel very substantial and the padding (at the hips and knees) is in the right places. The sizing is spot-on. Whatever size you regularly take in jeans, order that size and they will fit. l wash them (infrequently!) at 20c and they don't shrink or loose colour. Easy to ride in and easy to walk in, but get a good belt or braces because they are reassuringly heavier than regular jeans.
For a tall slim person these jeans are an excellent fit; bit stiff to start with but they are AAA! Wasn’t sure whether to go for long or extra long leg as I have 34in inside leg, and decided on the long which was probably right choice for position of knee armour, as I think the extra long would’ve placed this too far down. Because they are black and a heavy material they are quite warm in direct sun, but defo better than leathers!
These are really good riding jeans, was a bit worried they would be unconfortable but they were are great for long rides and the armour is awesome strong but flexible.
Only issue i had is they come up a bit long, so if you normally wear a regular i would go for a short.
