I have a recent model bike by a major European manufacturer, which is still under warranty. On trying to get the lights fitted by a registered mechanic I discovered that because this bike does not have a Can-Bus system, installation would involve cutting into the wiring loom, which would no doubt upset both the bikes' processor and the manufacturer's warranty, or having Can-Bus and all the necessary paraphernalia involved installed. All too expensive.
Unfortunately, the lights had been in and out of their packaging so often by this stage, it (the packaging) had become quite shabby so I didn't return them.

This Daytime Running Light Kit is designed to mount a pair of DENALI DRL pods on the front fender of your bike, creating maximum visibility to oncoming traffic. This kit directly replaces the original M5 or M6 fender hardware securing the DRL's close to the fender for a sleek, low-profile installation.
Purpose built to create the most amount of light from the smallest, slimmest housing possible, the DENALI DRLs integrate perfectly with the front end. Complete with an integrated dual intensity circuit, the lights can be wired to run at full intensity, half intensity or automatically switch between the two with the motorcycle's original high beam switch. A waterproof connector and posi-tap pigtail utilize power from your vehicles running light circuit, making installation a breeze and operation effortless; the DRLs will simply come on and turn off with your vehicle's ignition.
