Every time you put your hand in a glove, it should be passing the CE label that shows it's been tested as protective kit. We'll show you how to understand what it's telling you...
Excellent level of protection and look great.
Well made and comfortable.
High level glove at a reasonable price.
Really comfortable straight away, I got these to replace my Oxford RP1 gloves, which were worn out, the nexus gloves offer KP 2 protection at a great price! They feel substantial and great quality without taking away feel, the ventilation is better than the RP1 gloves as well, and has kept my hands cooler, especially in the recent hot weather, Oxford products kit offers great value and quality above the price point, they are one of the first manufacturers I look at when looking for new kit, I highly recommend these gloves, especially when you consider the price of other KP2 level gloves, the only ( slight) downside is the cuffs could be slightly larger , taking a bit of time to seat over my leathers, but I guess that means increased security, the usual great service from sportsbike shop, buy with confidence.
The glove is a little tight when putting on but it feels secure once on, can't be pulled off easily. It is rated at level 2, which is higher then many gloves in this category. There are some ventilation holes along the finger but haven't fully tested in the summer heat. Stitching finish is very nice and doesn't cause discomfort. What I dislike is the finger bridge feels redundant as it's not very big. Hope in the next iteration they improve the finger bridge and palms. Overall I'm happy with the glove from Oxford.
Great fit, finger length spot on and great quality leather and construction. Comfortable on first 50 mile ride with great feel on the controls. Excellent value for money and AA safety rated - a great summer glove.
Excellent product with great breathable material and great wind resistance
I really like these gloves, but had to take back a couple of pairs before finding the perfect ones. Usually I'm an XL but the size guide said to go for an L. The first pair of Ls had a fault in the stitching and there was a nasty hotspot on the right glove. Changed them for another L and took me a couple of days to be sure they were too small so exchanged for an XL, which are still snug, but now wearing in nicely. There's also been a mistake on all three pairs where the stitched-in label says KP1 rather than KP2, which I checked directly with Oxford and they said was wrong, the gloves are definitely a KP2. Now that's sorted they're great gloves, but marking down because of the faults.
I had to return these gloves. Whilst the size / fitting was correct, I found they had several 'hot spots' inside, on places such as the knuckles; they soon rubbed my hands raw. Pity, as they offered good value for money with a pleasing design.
Pro's:
CE 2 protection...sliders, kevlar
Premium hide with a good feel.
Oxford sizing is spot on.
Ventilation holes between the fingers work well in hot weather.
Great value for what you get.
Con's:
For me, the cuff is a little short.
Ventilation too good so dry summer only.
Another quality product at a great price from Oxford
So far so good, can't really fault them, fit is fairly good, protection should be great (These are CE level 2 gloves) and they are comfortable to ride in and all for a great price. My only issue is that the digits are a bit too short, longer fingers and thump next time Oxford.
Saw the YT video on these by Sportsbikeshop and decided to have a look at them at the shop. Very comfortable and have good venting on the fingers, plus they have level two protection which can't be sniffed at for the price.
I really like these, sizing is good, fingers are long enough so they don't fatigue your hands over a long day. Don't feel bulky so easy to use controls.
I like that the wrist strap isn't too bulky so it can get under jackets that don't have that wide an opening
They needed little to no breaking in. Ventilation is ok, not amazing but even on a pretty hot day they didn't get too sweaty, and they were fine on a colder day too.
Touch screen works ok, not amazing, but better than some others. I'll probably add some stick on touchscreen finger tips anyway
For the price and protection levels it doesn't seem to get any better
Great glove, good protection, and well ventilated
For under £100 you will get gloves that fit really well and that have good quality leather. They don't need to be broke in, you can simply start wearing them comfortably from the moment you buy them. The fact that you get a Level 2 safety rating is a huge bonus for this price I honestly don't think there is a better all round glove that gives you a high safety rating.
