Acceptable textile trousers

They're acceptable riding trousers, comfortable and well made, but if you want a trouser that you can tuck into your boots this isn't them, they're too long and there's too much material around the ankle, even if you roll them up. I found the sizing true to size and the service from SBS second to none.

Love the look and fit of these trousers. Great fit and true to size. Only gripe to Alpinestars designers is they are designed to fit both inside or outside the boot but the extra material used to make them fit outside restricts the ability to wear them inside a boot. I solved this by creating a small turn up when wearing them inside so the excess material doesn t bunch up and rub your ankle.. Apart from that I am 100% delighted with the trousers. Sportsbike shop is how online shopping should be, I tried two other styles of trousers before these that didn t work out but the return and refund process is quick and painless. Been a customer for over a decade and never look anywhere else for bike gear.

Perfect style and fit

Wanted a fitted pair of biking trousers that looked like a race style fit without them being leather. These were that solution. Usual textile trousers make me feel like the Michelin man and are way too baggy

Make sure you order 2x larger than your normal size if interested in these. Nice trousers and blend the textile/leather sporty trouser line nicely. Shame about sizing

Not many in the boot trousers around, good fit and armour sits correctly. These are rated A but seem tougher than a lot of my A clothes, and seem to be closer to AA.

Purchased in store so I was able to try on and I needed a size up to what I usually have.

Trousers themselves are fantastic. I was getting fed up with wearing leathers on longer rides and wanted textile but without the touring look. This fit what I needed, decent level of protection with zipped ventilation and plenty of movement.

They fit like leather trousers without being too thick and fit inside racing boots, not tested how waterproof they are yet but they've dealt with little showers and kept me dry

Quality trousers , sports look without being leather so more waterproof and practical . Comfy on bike , not that good to walk round in though . I wear shorts under and put in pannier on arrival .

Very good but could be better

Love the design & fit. Alpinestars describe them as fit with in & out boots but don't really work with either. Zip opening not big enough for in boots & when not tight enough on calf for out boots either.
I use with short boot & they are fine. Armour good & doesn't move but should have hip armour as standard.
