Replacement wired microphone

Brought the Cardo 4+, had various issues with connectivity and hearing people when I called/recieved calls (I don't make or accept calls unless it's from one of three family members, so it wasn't used too often), returned it to the soprtsbikeshop in MK, as usual, staff were very helpful
The whole unit was sent away and tested and faults were found. Microphone was replaced and the unit returned to me. I haven't had the chance to test it properly yet but their tech people assure me its all working as they have tested the unit on bike runs. Excellent service from Sportsbikeshop as usual.

Usual brilliant service from sportsbikeshop but the product is rubbish. It lasted one ride despite me using 30 years of experience wiring it very carefully into a XS Shoei helmet. It is simply to delicate to last, it is the latest in a number of replacement Cardo mics. The boom mic is fine but this type is useless. Back to hand signals!
