Great product let down by a single design flaw

This is the first Alpinestars garment that I have owned that hasn't been absolutely perfect.
It's such a shame - the trousers look great, they are light, and they are well ventilated, but after wearing them for 3 long hot days on a tour through France and Italy, both of my knee's developed sores from the constant chafing of the inner material that holds the knee armour in place.
My left knee suffered worse, with the skin being rubbed totally off. I attempted to remove the armour, thinking that might alleviate any pressure, but it had no effect.
Put simply the inner material holding the armour in place is very abrasive.
Such a shame as they should be great trousers, and per the other reviews, other riders have not had any issues. Size 3XL.
I'll avoid uploading photos of the damage to my knees, but have attached a photo of the inner lining that caused the issue.
