You'd be surprised how many riders wear a helmet that's too big for them. Here's how to tell if a lid really fits you...
Likes: comfy, quality seems decent, lots of room for intercom speakers, visor and sun-visor both optically excellent, and Pinlock included works well. Dislikes: one of the noisier helmets I’ve had, and the position of the sun-visor slider means I’ve had to position my Sena intercom on the rear quarter of the helmet. Not a biggie, but just needs getting used to. Not yet been out in really wet/cold so can’t really comment on the effectiveness of the vents but the top ones seem to keep me cool.
The helmet is great but the visor is a bit awkward to refit. I have the matt black but there is a good choice of colours
Possibly the best value helmet on the market. Only things to consider are the limited space to attach an intercom because of the internal visor slider, and although it does come with Pinlock it is only Pinlock 70. But for this price you get MIPS, a drop down visor, Pinlock and it’s up to the new safety standard. Assuming it fits (and the size chart seems accurate) it’s a great value.
The fit is quite tight, I'm 58cm and went for large.
●Looks great
●Great functionality (Vents, internal sun visor)
●White being a safe colour for getting noticed
The Lithium features a new low-profile aero shape unlike any other helmet in the Bell line-up. The design language is more purposeful and aggressive, taking its design lead from aerodynamic models and rider function.
MIPS (multidimensional impact protection system) is integrated into the Lithium platform for greater protection for the rider.
