RST Tractech Evo 5 CE Textile Jacket - Black / Black / Black

Lovely fit and very comfy has a lining you can remove for summer bit on heavy side but doesn't fell like when you are riding

I got this to replace my much loved RST GT CE textile jacket, had this still been available i’d of got another without looking at anything else, I’d ordered a few others to try first that didn’t suit then came across this, ordered online and picked up from a local collection point 2 days later. The jacket is good quality and fits well, I can’t put my finger on why but it just falls short of my old GT but is the closest replacement I’ve found. I wouldn’t call them faults but the lack of a rear back zip vent is a bit strange and the positioning/angle of the zip pockets on the front make them a bit uncomfortable to put your hands in to keep warm with the jacket zipped up. The inner liner is comfortable and warm without making you sweat. Used for the first time yesterday without this in and was noticeable for 2 reasons, first the wind chill blowing around the inside and also what feels like 10 pins being stuck in to my right forearm and elbow from the inside of the armour area, I’ll be pulling the sleeve inside out later to see why. All in all a good jacket with just a few niggles making it feel a bit less top quality than it could’ve been I’d score it 7/10

Perfect fit great quality strong material

The protection it gives is excellent and it’s very windproof and does well in the rain.

However, the quality of the zips are very poor. The bottom of the zips used is a very cheap plastic that is not strong enough to deal with the weight of the jacket.

My jacket didn’t even last one season of riding, I’m very disappointed in this. Especially as I have lots of other good RST gear.

Bought as a present and my son is over the moon. Fits well and quality exceptional.

Good fitting jacket plenty of pockets removable lining better than the last Rst jacket which rubbed marked t shirt you are wearing should last many years.

Haven't worn it properly as yet, it's a Xmas gift from my wife but tried it on when it arrived to be sure it fit. Followed the advice of going a size up and fits perfectly. Feels good too. My old Venti is an A rated jacket so wanted the upgrade to an AA. The included back protector is a bonus too.

True to size with handy detachable liner, plenty of pockets & ventilation, good back & arm protection

This jacket fits like it was tailored to me and for me I find warm even in colder weather it’s got protection everywhere it’s needed my only grip is there is no matching trouser

recently bought the RST Tractech Evo 5 CE Textile Jacket in Black/Black/Black, and I’m really pleased with it. The fit is excellent for me — comfortable while still feeling secure with the CE Level 2 armour in the shoulders, elbows, and back. The removable thermal liner and waterproofing make it versatile for different weather, and the ventilation works well when riding at speed. I also like the sleek all-black look, which pairs easily with the rest of my gear. Overall, it feels well-made, protective, and good value for money.

All the armor does give you some sense of better protection while still being comfy and does not impact the joy of riding. It's been great with temperatures outside between 15-25c.

So comfy, looks amazing, and excellent quality, massive difference in price to the usual high end brands with ZERO drop in quality imo¬
