RST Tractech Evo 5 CE Textile Jacket - Black / White / Black

This jacket is lovely ! It fits well is relatively lightweight even with the back protection in
I wish it had more zipped ventilation but with the quilted waterproof lining zipped out it’s not a hot jacket to wear

This jacket is great quality. Its not the most comfortable but Its because of the amount of protection you have and I'd rather have the peace of mind over comfort. Having said that, you get used to it very quickly and hardly notice it. I would say if youre going to buy, go 1 size up. Im normally a Large in most stuff and got a large and its a bit snug. The vents are great and have really good airflow. The thermal layer inside is easy to take out and put back in and really makes a difference in keeping me warm when the temperature dips. All in all its a really well made and tough jacket and well worth the money. Highly recommend.

Purchased this as needed a new one, liked the design comes with armour, quality feel to it, body warmer inside which is detachable, handy little pockets for essentials

The jacket fits well and is generally well made. It has some decent features regarding the protection levels.

Unfortunately the back pocket split after 9 months use (though SBD we're great as usual and this was repaired by RST)

There are rubber coated seams on the arms that have work through, making the jacket look scruffy. Its not the end of the world but Iit would have been nice for it to look neat for more than 9 months.

Good jacket if this is your budget but its probably worth shopping a little higher if you can

Very good safety rating of overall AA which for non-Leather products is the best I’ve seen (I.e., haven’t seen any overall AAA-rated Textile jackets). Also important is that it then also follows up with highest CE Level 2 armor for back, elbows and shoulders. I also got the optional chest protectors which worked well but had a somewhat snug fit in the jacket, almost as if they were a bit too big to fit in the chest protectors pockets (will need to adjust them further). I’m 178cm and 72kg and for me the jacket fits quite well and has a relatively sporty fit (not the most sporty but that also means it’s comfier on long rides on sport bikes - fulfills my objective!)

Nice lightweight jacket fits as you'd expect. Service at Sportsbikeshop Boston was 1st class as always.

Feels snug but not restrictive. Padded. Comfortable for long periods of time

Great jacket to throw in for a short run.
Will keep you dry in the showers and has good protection inside too.
Recommend for the daily commute or city rider

I really like this jacket. Looks an feels good.
Protection at the shoulders, elbow/arms and back. Quality feel throughout. Pockets inside and removable liner also. Staff really helpful at sbs (boston)

Great Jacket, fits well, comfortable to ride with, removable seperate liner helps in summer.
Not tried in rain, but have had RST previously and that was good in wet weather.

Looking forward to using it on our road trip to the European Pyrenees Picos mountains.
