Great value and very comfy

I bought these in a rush as temperature soared and didn’t think too much about it, I just wanted an option that was cooler on hot days - since then they’ve been the go to choice. They’re very comfy to wear, less faff to put on that some of my other gear and they’re a sensible fit - a lot of other textile pants are so baggy you look like you’re wearing MC Hammer pants and could start a friction fire any time you walk anywhere!

I tried the Merlin Taos on in the Birmingham store and knew straight away they were perfect for me. The fit is great, they feel like real quality and, most importantly, when riding they keep you cool.

Great design, excellent quality and perfect fit. Merlin have carefully thought about what is needed in a summer bike trouser. Built-in knee protection unobtrusive and additional hip protection (purchased separately) fits like a glove and doesn’t alter the fit. Thoroughly recommend this product.

I have always found Merlin products excellent quality and value for money.
Sizing is spot on and looking at the mesh vents (purchased in January) summer cooling will be perfect.
10/10 for the usual SBS service:)

Great, comfortable and light. Super breathable so no problems with overheating. Combined with the jacket and it's slick looking unlikely a lot of bulky trousers.

The Taos trouser features the same, great specification as it's accompanying jacket to include; a unique stretch and brushed soft stretch Polyester shell, with large ventilation panels. CE rated armour can be found inside the pockets with an easy, over the boot ankle adjustment closure and at the knee the pattern has been cut to pre-curve for more comfort on the bike. These are a fully certified trouser, not just the armour, so riders benefit from a lightweight and breathable adventure pant without compromise to safety or performance.
