Kriega Harness Pocket
Customer Product Reviews
No more fumbling through pockets.
Very useful extra pocket which is easily accessible. Only negative i can think of is that on my backpack (R30) it only attaches to the shoulder strap via wrap around velcro. I'll need to tweak that sligtly as i'm not really that confident in trusting my wallet/keys/etc to a piece of velcro!
Great little pouch
I actually use this pouch to attach to my bike handlebars for toll money and to hold ferry tickets etc. Because its waterproof (tested in some bad downpours) I also put my iPod in it, Bluetooth to my helmet and listen to music when riding long journeys. Its a very robust well made pouch and seriously considering buying a second one to attach to the other side of the handlebars.
Underrated piece of kit
Very good quality and robust accessory, can be worn on belts or on rucksack straps and is secure. It saves quite a lot of faffage, generally just makes life easier.. I would say its an essential piece of kit for anyone planning on touring. Only negative is that its just that little bit to small to fit your average smart phone (with it's protective case on), but its ideal for wallets, keys, cards, tickets etc.
Great accessory with R30 back pack
Though not guaranteed to be water proof, it has withstood torrential rain at motorway speeds (though I probably wouldn't trust it with a phone). makes accessing my wallet, keys and work pass super easy when I get to work, home or when stopping at a petrol station.
Usual Kriega quality looks very sturdy and very easy to fit to my R20. Had hoped it would have a waterproof pocket inside like other Kriega products to separate things like wallet from phone but unfortunately not. Overall happy as it gives me an easily accessible storage pocket when on the bike.
Much smaller than expected.
I expected to get my wallet, phone and work pass card in here and while I can it's very tight. The quality is typical Kriega but the design isn't great. The zip is fine but the way they've enclosed it means that water will pool there. No wonder people have had issues with it leaking. Feels a bit of a waste of money at this stage.
Handy as a multi tool
OK I bought the Kube at the same time as the Kriega R15. Its not waterproof but its so handy. The Kube has a large Velcro strap and two small ones at the rear. You can attach it to almost anything e.g. the straps on a rucksack harness, rear bike carrier, your trouser belt, handlebars, motorcycle frame. What can you put in it well a disclock, coins, mobile phone if not raining, USB connections and leads, puncture repair outfit and keys. Its a £20 multi purpose small bag made by a quality brand and quality materials what do you want buy one.
