A helmet’s integrity is everything, and after a long ride it's tempting to just sling it to the side - ok, just me then!? Having these cheap donuts avoids damage caused by the lids rolling off a worktop, or being knocked around by an overzealous doggo!

Schuberth E2 helmet

Always had Shoei helmets, this is my first Schuberth and I must say I'm finding it just as comfortable with the added advantage of having an adjustable/removable peak. Took the offer of a Sena mesh coms system which is integrated into the helmet. So far (200 miles +] very pleased with both. The peak has noticeable drag above 60mph but as I'll only have it fitted at the beginning and end of the year when the sun is low that's not a problem.
