Dainese Waterproof Rain Overgloves - Black
Customer Product Reviews
A must for all weather riding !!
Absolutely love this product as I hate bulky winter gloves, I wear these with my summer gloves in wet weather my hands are warm and dry, small enough to just carry in a jacket pocket Best thing iv bought for a long time :)
It's waterproof but...
I was waiting for a very rainy day to test it out. So here it is. It is water proof but... Made of a very silky material therefore my grip was slipping on the throttle. The only way to hold a firm grip is with 5 fingers. So don't expect a quick brake reaction from yourself. That's a big worry on a wet ride. The fingers are cut weird. As stated before me. It could be a bit more roomy. On the up side it is truly waterproof. My summer leather glove stayed bone dry. For the price and brand I was expected better design and finish. Nevertheless I will keep it cause I could not find better. It works, but proceed with caution.
Nice but odd cut.
These are well made and waterproof, the lining makes them easy to slip on. The fit is a bit odd as they are plenty long enough in the fingers and the cuff but narrow front to back such as they are tight over the hard armour of my Ixon gloves (ok ish over my gloves with thinner armour). The next size up may have sorted this but then they'd have probably been too long
I thought they were expensive for 'over' gloves but with Sportsbikeshop discount I bought them. Wish I'd done this years ago. They completely block the wind and yes they're waterproof. Very lightweight and don't restrict your finger movement ( one of the reasons I wanted gloves not mits )
Dry and warm hands
Even with GoreTex gloves, once they're wet the heat is sapped from your hands. Not anymore! This simple addition is easy to put on, keeps water away from gloves and hands stay dry and warm. I was sick of putting wet gloves back on the next morning, especially when camping and no drying facilities (Scotland, Ireland) Such a cheap and simple answer. Not for everyone, but longer distance tours need them in Europe.
