Forma ADV Tourer Boots - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Tough as old boots.
Great boots, very comfy and obviously very tough, great value for money, the only gripe which I didn't think about when buying them is that there is no feeling through the toe so if you're trying to change gear you can't feel anything through them, I'm hopeing they just need a bit of wearing in.
Quality boots - time will tell how good
Got those for my pillion. Happy with the looks and build quality. Had to go two sizes up from normal but thanks to SBS excellent customer care and support, buying and returning never been an issue. A little bit stiff to begin with, we hope they will break in after few rides. Time will tell how good they are
A really nice fitting boot which is instantly comfortable to walk in. I purchased one size up so I can use with thick socks as a winter boot and then just use a simple sole insert for summer use. Very good calf room (reason for buying). Have recommended to several people since buying only to be told "I know, I have a pair, they are great". Not used in wet weather so cannot vouch for waterproofness.
I read a few reviews about these boots, can honestly say how pleased I am, having only worn them once since purchasing them, they feel good, and very supportive around ankles, time will tell how they stand up to general wear and tear but first impressions are good.
Really pleased with these
These boots are really well made, a definite upgrade on my old Richa boots. They are comfy to wear and seem to offer good protection without completely immobilising my lower leg. My bike has quite a forwards-leaning riding position, and these boots do not make it uncomfortable like some full adventure boots I tried. I also rode in heavy rain today, and my feet stayed totally dry. And of course, SBS remains the very model of how an online retailer should be run!
Great service again from the Sportsbike Shop. The boots appear to be excellent quality (due to CV I've not been able to use on bike yet). I bought a size larger than norm and the length is perfect. However it did make the depth inside the boot a bit loose so have used an inner sole to tighten them up. Good grippy sole.
I had a pair of Forma boots for 10 years before they finally wore out, found these similar style forma boot online at Sportbikeshop at a very good sale price. I ordered the wrong size! They exchanged them no problem. Great shop online, and worth a ride out to visit.
So far so good. The boots are exceptionally comfortable. I'm a 9 most of the time, but found that they were a little too snug with a thin pair of socks on. Knowing that I'd be wearing a thicker pair through winter, I opted to go one size up and have no regrets. They've been worn in the rain albeit with waterproof trousers over the top - no signs of any damp on the inside.
Subtle adventure style boots
First of all, service from Sportsbike shop superb as always. On to the boots. Good stiff sole, appear to be nicely made and easy to get on and off, much easier than full scale off road boots. The pattern of the sole means that they don't move easily on the pegs, but you get used to it. Very easy to get on and off, the closing systems all working very well. Once "broken in", which didn't take very long, they are comfortable both on and off the bike. Sizing. I take 43 in most footwear, went with 44 for these. Fit well, with just a little extra room available for thicker socks in cold weather. Not tried in the rain yet so cannot comment on waterproofing. Overall, happy. Decent value boots.
I've had these boots for a few weeks now and they are very nice. I normally have plenty of room in a size 8 and previous Alpine Stars boots have always had room for thick socks in winter. Being an Italian brand I did wonder if they'd come up small. They are actually a perfect fit as long as I only want to wear thin socks. Everything else is spot on and I would definitely recommend them. If we have a particularly cold winter and my feet freeze I might change my mind but otherwise a great buy.
