Oxford Montreal 3.0 Textile Jeans - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Oxford Montreal 3.0 textiles great all rounder
Great all round riding trouser The good thing about the Oxford Montreal 3.0 is that they are available in short leg They are well put together and a. Great weight One slight down side is the bottom of the legs are a bit baggy with limited adjustment available to alter them Other wise great value for money
Well made but the rear braces panel zip required an anchor stitch to stop it unzipping whilst riding. Good fit but the Lower half of the legs from the knee down are far too wide. The Velcro tab needs to be longer for more adjustment. A second Velcro tab at mid-calf would also be welcome.
Fantastic bit of kit, very comfortable with one drawback. The multiple layers suit all but the hottest of days even then the ample air vents will keep you from over heating. My only complaint which has been the reason for the single star loss is the far too big legs from the knee down. It really is baggy, I cannot work out why but the fit is great until you get to just below the knee. The Velcro strap does pull it in a little bit, man it's like Buzz Light Year!
I bought these to use when my armoured jeans aren't enough. I normally get away with 36" waist but after reading reviews I went for a 38" with these and they are perfect round the waist. From the waist to the knee they are in proportion and fit well. Below the knee they are far too wide, even over the top of boots. I haven't had them long enough to comment on their durability and it hasn't rained yet so don't know about waterproof qualities. They certainly kept me warm this afternoon in close to zero temperatures. The quality of construction etc and the 'feel' of the product gives me confidence that they will be up to the job.
Finally dry legs!
Brought these for winter riding and there great. Legs are dry legs are warm. Plenty of pockets for phone keys and wallet. Lots of adjustable poppers to make the fit tighter or looser. The straps are brilliant didn't think I'd use them
Very comfortable, warm and certainly shower proof. The removable braces and large pockets are also a nice feature. The 2 negatives for me are the legs are a bit loose and baggy and Oxford need to put more velcro or something at the bottom of the leg so you can close off tight to your boot or leg. At the moment unless I tie the bottom up I get a breeze up my legs!
Wonderful value. Very well made
Such good value and build. These surpass my previous trousers on quality and price. And with the service and help I had to order several pairs to optimise the fit. But with the delivery and return system being awesome it was easy.
Usual Oxford high quality, bought these to go with the matching jacket, comfortable jeans,I like the braces and plenty of adjusters to get a good fit, and stayed warm and dry, only criticism is they don't do a short leg which would benefit those of us vertically challenged.
Excellent textile jeans from Oxford
I would have given 5 stars if the leg had been slightly more narrow around the ankle area, but great Jean's to match the jacket I had previously purchased, when I started my training. Very warm, does have an inner liner which can be removed, and have proved to be dry in wet conditions. As ever Sportsbikeshop delivery was faultless and quick.
My husband and I both wear these trousers. Really comfortable and feel well made and thankfully waterproof. Would recommend going up a waist/dress size from your normal clothing and great that they come in different leg lengths though it seems impossible to track down a man's long leg so had to settle for the regular which was ok as he wears tall boots.
Don't expect much just to be waterproof!
Let water in after 20 minutes of motorway riding. Sizes are a bit strange as the size down fit well except the waist. Next size up needed the belt to fit waist but very baggy in the legs. Flappingly baggy in fact! The bottom leg adjustment velcro is pointless as when zipped cannot wrap closer with the velcro as the strip isn't long enough around the leg. The braces are a must to keep the crotch area from sagging too low. Very hard to swing your leg over the bike full of panniers and top box with a sagging crotch. The braces need adjusting frequently as they loosen off so not too good after an hour or so riding. All in all very disappointed as these didn't perform much better than my 10 year old Revit Trousers.
