Never got chance to use it but i do not doubt it would have worked just like the pinlock it was to replace. My scorpion ADX1 broke the day after this item arrived so never fitted it.

Good sizing as described - maybe consider one size smaller than your usual fitting. Quite heavy but that is probably needed for winter riding. Nice and worm and comfortable the waistband does come up above normal trousers giving a warm feeling as its well inside your jacket.

These were a long shot for me - I was looking for some touring trousers that could cope with hot climates and still be comfortable to ride and walk in - I originally wanted the Klim Marrakesh trousers but the sizing was all over the place to get ones that fitted it meant they were really baggy. So I looked at alternative materials to the Klim and these were fairly new in the market with no reviews. i talked direct to Spidi factory people via a chat format on their website and they were helpful with fitting details and materials used. I ordered from SBS because I trust them. I toured in them to Switzerland last year and all good - great venting, great comfort. I would worry about protection in a long slide but Spidi assures me they will stand up to a slide at legal speeds. Only slight niggle is I would have preferred Belt hoops so I could wear my own belt as the adjusters dont really cinch the waist up enough - i have had to add a pair of braces to help out BUT i have lost weight this year so I will try again without. They are only shower proof (on the basis they would dry quick in the wind) but I wear waterproof overtrousers if it becomes wet. Leg zips are a bit counter intuitive but do help with airflow a little.

I bought the matching top which I was more than pleased with. The pants were the same good quality. I'm really pleased I've got a complete base layer set as they are so cosy and comfy to wear

What a great base layer. So soft warm and cosy. Conformed so well to my body I forgot I'd got it on as there was no need for any awkward fit adjustment.

This product comes with a range of accessories and connections. Having a BMW and another bike I was able to use the Canbus connection for the BMW, and the provided battery connection for my other ride enabling the Optimate to be swapped quickly and easily between the two bikes. The optimate is incredibly easy to use and works very efficiently. I highly recommend it.

A great set of comms, with loud and clear speakers that have plenty of volume. This is important to me as I'm 50% deaf in both ears and wear Pinlock earplugs, and when using the Voice audio preset I can hear satnav instructions, voice calls and intercom talk very clearly. The placement of the microphone is extremely clever - it fits in the brow of the liner between the sun visor and the main visor and yet still captures my voice cleanly. This is great for me as I have the Nexx X.Lifecountry flip front helmet and there's no boom microphone in front of my mouth with the flip front raised. Absolute no brainer for any Nexx lid that it's compatible with.

I've always liked Nexx helmets since my first XR1R Carbon back in the day, so when I was looking for an adventure style lid they were my first choice. The X.Lifecountry Carbon in Terra Matt Grey / Neon ticks all my boxed, I wanted a versatile flip front helmet (if you wear glasses you'll get it) with fully integrated comms, carbon fibre shell, internal sunvisor, Pinlock Max 120, a peak, and a grey and neon colour scheme. I'm very happy with it, it's quiet at speed behind the screen of my Tiger 1200, fits like it was made just for me, it's well ventilated and has a feeling of quality to it. For me, there are no downsides at all and it also comes with a 5 year warranty if registered with Nexx. Five stars all round, and the guys at SBS Birmingham couldn't have been more helpful.

Love this helmet. It's light, comfy/snug at the same time & an absolute bargain price. Not sure if the essence of Rossi has effected my riding yet though :)

Usual Kriega quality. Not cheap but this bag will last for ever, fits well and look good.
