Shoei X-SPR Pro - Escalate TC10
27 Mar 2026 by Adrian
Shoei X-SPR Pro - Escalate TC10I've been wearing Shoei for my entire riding life (nearly 30 years) I've had 6 in that time and they've always been comfy and good quality and had no complaints. the last two I've had have not been great, this one especially for the cost. I can't stop the visor leaking water (I commute all year) and even worse is that it mists up. Even with a genuine evo "anti fog" insert. It mists up. Not in between the visor and insert. but on the inside of the "anti fog" insert. that and in less than 18 months. The forehead padding has become uncomfortable. First thought it was my balaclava. but no it's the crash helmet. It's bad enough that I'll be finding a new crash helmet manufacturer to try.

Oxford Cypher 1.0 Dry2Dry Boots - Black / White / Red
27 Mar 2026 by Ross
Oxford Cypher 1.0 Dry2Dry Boots - Black / White / RedSo far so good. I've only been out on a few rides with these boots so far, but of those few rides it's chucked it down twice and both times my feet were bone dry. Just be wary though, you are going to need to break these boots in properly - a week around the house should do it
They are true to size but if you like a bit of wiggle room & thicker sock room, then I'd buy one size bigger.
Oddly enough these aren't too bad to walk in either.
I've only put 4/5 due to only owning them a couple of weeks so that's not really long enough for 5/5. If they last a min of a year without leaks & maintain their comfort then it'll be a 5/5 for me - although I do own the Oxford Merton 2.0 boots as well & they are indeed a 5/5.
Price wise, you can't really go wrong here - especially against the likes of alpinstars, I'd choose these every time.

Caberg Pro Speak Evo Universal Bluetooth Kit - A9235
27 Mar 2026 by Mick S
Caberg Pro Speak Evo Universal Bluetooth Kit - A9235Being a more affordable option campared to previous makes I have used, it has some draw backs (With Same Helmet ). Gloved fingers difficult to hit the right spot on the buttons. Sound quality on the "accented" voice is not great and low volume. Fine at lower speeds but get above 30mph even on full volume and my GPS on full volume, difficult.

Alpinestars J-6 Waterproof Shoe - Black / White

Alpinestars J-6 Waterproof Shoe - Black / WhiteThese fit like ordinary trainers, they are extremely comfy, and the DryStar lining has never let me down. Would be a 5-star review, but the sole started to come away after a year of ownership.

Klim Induction V3 Leather Gloves - Stealth BlackThese gloves look great, have great ventilation for summer riding and are extremely comfortable. Would be a 5-star review but the seam split after 6 months, however, SBS had them repaired and returned to me within a week and they are better than ever.

Dainese Torque 4 Air Boots - Black / Lava Red
27 Mar 2026 by Steven L
Dainese Torque 4 Air Boots - Black / Lava RedI wanted a new boot for road and track, and tried these and the Alpinestars Supertech R. I wear a size 48, which can cause issues with bulk and the difference in fit and look was night and day. The Supertechs, whilst clearly being an amazing boot with a more sporty appearance, were absolutely huge by comparison, yet somehow still a little too snug in the inside with pressure around the toes. The Torque 4s, on the other hand, look noticeably smaller, in a good way, but are all-day comfortable. They are also very premium and due to their size being reduced, look way better.

Merlin Minworth II D3O Heated Gloves - Dark Brown
27 Mar 2026 by Pete
Merlin Minworth II D3O Heated Gloves - Dark BrownI've had these gloves for couple of months, riding in temperatures down to around 3C. These gloves keep my hands and fingers warm, though on some occasions I was using handguards as well. Above about 8C they seem fine without the heat on. I've only used the max heat once on the coldest day (3C) and it stopped my fingers from freezing. Otherwise, seem fine with low or medium heat and I've used these without handguards at temps of 5 -6C with no issues with these heat settings. Batteries are easy to insert/remove and on the medium to low settings look as if they will last up to around 4 hours, maybe a bit more on the lowest. If I was going to ride really long distance I'd buy another set of batteries to keep going longer. Quality and fit seem fine for me, the fastenings are secure and stay that way whilst riding. Can't comment on wet weather performance as I haven't yet used them in any serious rain.

R&G Adventure Motorcycle Cover - Black
27 Mar 2026 by Pete
R&G Adventure Motorcycle Cover - BlackBought this to replace the Royal Enfield cover that came with my bike. Material quality is certainly better and heavier and it is more secure on the bike, the old one just blew away in the wind! Due to the better fit on the bike it can actually be a bit fiddly getting it on, but once on it stays there, aided by the two straps which fasten across underneath the bike. I haven't really tested it in heavy rain so can't comment on that aspect but it looks as if it will do the job.
