Oxford Alpha XA14 Alarm Disc Lock

I've kept it as changing bikes soon but doesn't fit my Yamaha discs.
I can still use it attached to the spokes and the yellow telephone cable is a good visual cue both to show that the bike is locked and to stop you trying to ride off without remembering to remove it.

With the included lanyard on my handlebars I dont forget it and try to ride off! Its bright in yellow so easily noticed by thieving wannabes and it has an alarm which is relatively easy to charge when needed. Its been on my bike now in the garage and on rides for a few weeks now and its a nice bit of added security for not much weight.

Should keep people at bay, hard wearing, solid and loud, ideal.

Solid and heavy piece of kit. Reassuring.
Instructions easy to follow - only need reading once. Easy fit on my front disc (Honda NC750X).
And the alarm is piercing. Easy reset, and easy battery removal if required. Handy USB-C charging (almost default, now).
Recommended and good value for money.

Very good and simple to use

Used this disc lock for a few years, Its loud enough and ive not had any false alarms with it. Still used every time I tour.

Seems to work well. Sometimes a bit fiddly to lock into place. Good bright deterrent and seems good quality

This disc lock is very sturdily made, it is very easy to use and arm, one beep for on and two beeps for off make it very easy to use. Hopefully I never get to check how strong it is in real life, but it makes a very very loud noise when I bumped into it in the garage. It is not too sensitive either, so random activation seems to be rare. I would buy again.

Easy to use, not as loud as I thought it might be, but enough to stop the car park jokers moving the bike to avoid having to think about parking properly.

Loud enough to put a thief off but not as loud as some alarms. I've heard louder tbh but this is a good all round security package to be carrying around with you for minimal protection. In fact I'd say it was the first essential thing I'd pack/buy to protect a Bike if your bike doesn't have a fitted alarm.

Does what it says on the tin and a good deterrent if you need to be away from the bike for a short while in a public space. Not ideal as a primary form of protection though !
