Oxford Alpha XA14 Alarm Disc Lock

Easy to use and setup.

Very sturdy gave me confidence Bike was secure. Easy to use, Alarm very loud.

I like that it feels and looks substantial, and I'm sure it would act as a very visible deterrent to all but the most determined and equipped thief. The instructions are not clear at describing the locking and unlocking procedures. Fortunately there are YouTube videos for that (why can't Oxford make a video?). I don't like the unnecessarily loud bleep it makes when the lock is engaged, and it could cause annoyance if you were to do it late at night or early morning.

Built well & very strong all works as it should takes quite a bit of movement to set the alarm off.
The alarm is loud & it does come with a warning strap for the handle bars.
All in all very happy with my purchase

Compact loud disc lock ,ideal as a deterrent. Small enough to carry in jacket pocket, down side it would have been nice if it had a pouch, and instructions a bit larger.

Compact and easy to carry

Does exactly as stated. The alarm is easy to set or disable. The lock itself seems robust enough for the price range it sits within. It comes with a usb cable for recharging the battery which is easy to access when required.
The alarm is loud and not over sensitive but I would say it is just sensitive enough. It does come with a reminder lanyard as well which I wasn’t sure it would when I ordered but I was pleasantly surprised.

This disc lock is really solid all steel not plastic. It really looks the part.. the only thing is it is a little bit heavy but I am looking to put a hold on the Bike to put it on then you don’t need to have it in a bag or in your pocket it loads be on the side of the bike there ready to put on not something you’ve forgotten .

The key is a great improvement on earlier versions which on dark rainy mornings were a struggle to get in the lock before you woke the neighbors with the alarm.
Apart from that it is lovely and yellow and does the job, plus a decent bit of weight to it.

Couple of lock options include alarm or lock only. Easy to use, reminder tether is useful. It definitely works, have given it a couple of tests. A nice security addition or option when out and about or home.

I have not used the lock in anger, as it were but it looks ideal for my needs. Purchased for a forthcoming road trip where the alarm element of the lock should increase deterrence. It is loud when tested!! Disc lock pins are also robust.

Oxford disk lock works exactly as discrbed, alarm is very loud and easy to use. As others reviews has noted it would have been nice to have a pouch to put it when not using, lucky for me I do have a spare that works. Just fits under the seat on my GSX-S1000 so check space as its quite a large lock.

Easy to fit, arming/disarming is simple with the given instructions. Three keys and a key code for replacement was a nice touch. Alarm isn’t super loud but is definitely audible.
