The first mixed weather test for me in this set was my recent trip to Southend Shakedown, leaving home at near zero degrees it kept me warm. The thermal layer and wind proofing worked well, the storm collar also provided extra comfort and warmth for my neck. As the day went on, the sun came out and it became very warm. No problem, I opened all the vents for the ride home and they did a great job of providing a nice air circulation keeping nice and cool. Roll on a week and the British weather hits again, so I gave the set a 200 mile run out in the rain on the GS. Again the kit kept me warm and most importantly, dry. I didn’t experience any leaks or damp anywhere, the jacket and trousers did exactly what they’re supposed. The pockets are decently sized, I could fit my Bike & Brew passport in the main external jacket pockets, again waterproofing held well through the rain with damage to my book. For me this kit is well worth the investment and would recommend to anyone.
