Although it's not advertised on many stores as being compatible with the RX-7V, it IS, I have it installed on my EVO Nakagami GP2. What I like: The integration into the helmet is nice and tidy and low profile, no big unit sticking out off the side of your head (looking at you Sena 60S). It's fairly easy to install. I recommend searching YouTube for a video. A quick call showed that unlike my other helmet/intercom system (Scorpion Carbon R1 Air with Interphone Tour) I can actually be heard over 5mph. In fact it was tested at 60mph and I was still able to have a conversation. Battery life - I left it on accidentally for about a week, and the intercom was still powered, although it did warn me halfway to work that the battery was low. What I don't like: The buttons are a bit fiddly, and because there are only 3 of them, you've got to learn all the combination presses to get the most out of the unit. I suspect many will find them confusing. It doesn't seem to mesh with other Sena intercoms, but does work ok non-mesh and over BlueTooth. The mic is a bit difficult to place where it doesn't hit your chin, I tried putting it in the deepest part of the well dead centre, and I can feel it which isn't great. I suspect a bit higher up but closer would give a bit more clearance. Sound quality is OK for speech, but the Bass it a bit muddy for music, but I suspect this may be adjustable in the app somewhat. The charging port is MicroUSB and not USB-C so it's not the easiest to plug in, especially if you wear glasses. In Summary: I think its good value for money if you don't want the latest mesh tech and don't go out riding with 73 other mates. However, if there was a newer version with a better button pad, USB-C charge port, and modern mesh technology, I'd be happy to pay more money for it. As it is, I think this unit is worth the asking price.
