AGV have introduced a new full-face road helmet to blend everyday practicality and the sportier character traditionally associated with the Italian brand.
The new AGV K5 helmet has a composite-fibre shell and AGV describe it as a versatile road helmet that combines a compact aerodynamic shape with features intended to improve comfort and visibility.
The visor uses AGV’s 190° Ultravision design, giving a wide horizontal field of view, and an internal sun visor adds extra convenience.
AGV say the K5 uses premium wraparound interior padding to give a secure, enveloping fit that still suits longer periods in the saddle.
The shape keeps aerodynamics in mind with a profile that reflects AGV’s more performance-focused helmets while remaining aimed at road riders rather than track regulars.
That makes the K5 an interesting addition to the range for riders who want some of AGV’s sporting DNA without giving up features such as a sun visor.
AGV are launching the K5 in sizes XS to XXL, with a choice of plain colours and graphic designs. The launch range includes gloss black, matt black, white and two grey finishes, alongside four graphic schemes.

The launch list price starts at £259, rising to £269 for some matt finishes and £299 for graphic designs.
The K5 will bridge the gap between AGV’s K3, which has a polycarbonate shell and micrometric fastener, and their K6-S, a sporty helmet with D-rings and a composite shell.
