K&N Air Filter TB-9020 - Triumph

Simple to install. Like for like replacement. On initial start up let the bike idle for 10 mins to allow ECU to adjust to less restricted air flow. From first ride I could notice throttle was more response and acceleration quicker. Worth an upgrade. Changed to this make of filter on every bike I’ve owned. Recommended simple upgrade.

Hiflofiltro OE Replacement Air Filter - HFA4707

I can't say much about an air filter except that I bought it for an independent bike mechanic to carry out a service and the bike is running better now than before. My bike is a Yamaha tracer 7, which is excellent. I found the after market part by asking the advice of AI. I knew I couldn't go wrong getting it from sportsbikeshop and it was delivered the next day, a Sunday.

Hiflofiltro OE Replacement Air Filter - HFA1911

Metal parts are thinner and painted whereas the OEM part is heavy duty galvanised. Filter material seems to be thinner. Overall the item is much lighter in weight than the OEM part. An OEM original has lasted 15 years and was of a strong enough construction to withstand being thoroughly cleaned (washed & blown) a couple of times in that period. It is unknown if the lighter construction of the HiFlo part will permit the same maintenance.
