Roof Helmets

The aesthetic look of the Roof Boxxer 2 is awesome. The front of the helmet is easy to move back and forth whilst on the move if you need to via the two red click pins on the side of the jaws of the helmet. Its a great design. The only slight drawback for me is that the helmet that fits the side of my head means the front inside of the helmet slightly touches my chin. It could do with being a centimetre or so away. However if I purchase the next size helmet up to conquer that then the helmet would be slightly to bit all over. Thus watch out for that. However for me that issue didn't preclude me from buying this lid. This is the only slight negative which led to my 4 star and not 5 star review.

Lastly for those wondering if it is worth the extra cost for the carbon helmet the simple answer is yes. The weight difference when you have this lid and the normal boxxer 2 in each hand is instantly noticable. I would highly recommend stumping up the extra cash for the lighter, stronger and better looking helmet.

However whichever Roof helmet you choose you won't regret it!

Been using a Shuberth helmet for a number of years now, and fancied a change. The Roof is lighter and quieter and the view out of the helmet is less cluttered than the Shuberth, and with the chin guard in the open position it's like a true open face helmet. Love it already

I've been wearing Roof helmets for years. Always my go to and never lets me down.

Comfy, clear, lightweight, stylish, good room for intercom. Neck strap minimal flaf.

Perfect fit, smooth glide from the visor and chin bar and a wide viewing sphere.
Not too bulky or heavy and looks cool too. Great value for the money

Bought for winter short days, and riding in darker conditions. A basic clear visor. Fits perfectly of course. Just drops straight in. Cleans up ok. It just works as you would expect. It does fog up quickly at traffic lights, but that's normal becuase its not possible to use pinlock with Roof. The tinted visor will go back on once the days stretch out again...
