Waterproof Motorcycle Gloves
Waterproof motorbike gloves
Waterproof aramid fibre reinforced winter gloves with Thinsulate lining and carbon-fibre protection
Excellent gloves 100% waterproof.
Bought size large (I am normally medium to large in gloves), they felt very snug to start with and I almost sent them back for the next size up. Glad I didn't as they very quickly loosened up after wearing them around the house and then on a 2000 mile 1 week trip to Scotland. They proved 100% waterproof after wearing them for 3 days of all day full on Scottish rain. Only negative is they are not as warm as I had hoped, they are not winter spec, good down to 12C and comfortable up to 22C. Really pleased.Read more
Tight to get on
Not a bad glove but they are on the tight side to get on. Once your hand is inside, it's fine but getting past the wrist section can be a pain. Not a bad armour on the knuckles , still flexible enough like you need. Not sure how the palms will hold up but I'm not planning to come off :)Read more
Lives up to the expectations
I already own the Held Aerosec GTX base and top, and these gloves fit in perfectly. I already own a pair of gloves without the cuff (Rev'it Boxxer), but these didn't really work out in heavy rain or fairly cold weather. Therefore I decided to buy these gloves. Besides being good looking gloves, these gloves keep your hands dry as well. I got soaked once already and besides the usual coldness my hands were dry. Just make sure when using the glove to put the glove under your jacket. Otherwise the water will just flow back in the glove.. A big plus for me is the air part of the glove. When you 'open' your hand while riding you can cool your palms, which is great during long rides. The gloves provide sufficient grip on the throttle. Almost forgot, with these gloves you can easily remove keys from your pocket to open the door or do other stuff. This suprised me, didn't expect it from 'bulkier' gloves. The only downside for me is that it takes a bit longer to put these gloves on compared to short gloves (Rev'it Boxxer). Other people might find the lack of touch support to be a problem, I do not. Review based on use in the Netherlands in September.Read more
