If your hands are always chilly, these five gloves will give you some extra insulation without robbing you of too much feel for the controls...
Customers find these gloves generally well-constructed and comfortable for three-season use, with good protection and waterproofing. Although not ideal for extremely cold weather, they're suitable for spring and autumn. Many recommend purchasing one size larger for a better fit, citing snugness as a common issue. Features like touchscreen compatibility and visor wipers receive positive mentions. However, there's criticism over occasional leakage and inner linings becoming loose, prompting some to continue their search for the perfect glove. Overall, the gloves are praised for quality, fit, and value.
Lightweight, flexible, fit slightly tight but should break in. No external armour.
There is nothing to dislike about these gloves the screen wipe on the left glove is very handy
Excellent pair off clothes comfy and light, doesn’t stick too you when it’s boiling hot havnt tested it in proper rain yet but they kepted me dry in light showers
These are perfect for cold wet weather. The rubber blade on the left index is extremely helpful and s nice touch
Very comfortable and a good fit. Touch screen friendly and a visor blade. Very pleased.
A very comfortable glove with proven Gore-tex waterproof membrane.
Snug fit so definitely go up a size or even two but great value& comfortable from the outset. Not tried in the rain yet but if it’s as good as my Richa suit I’ll be happy
Excellent quality and value for money. Nice, snug fit so sizing chart is pretty accurate. If your close to the upper size go for the next one up.
confortable and waterproof, at a good price. soft and goretex construction
I have very large hands and the 3xl are a perfect fit.
This is a very good value gortex glove for all but winter use. Believe the other reviews which say you may need to go two sizes up from your normal size to get a really comfortable fit.
I have had a chance to try these gloves in some torrential rain now, about 1 hr of heavy rain, they functioned as waterproof until I hade to take them off and then put them back on again. Someone already mentioned that the inner lining comes loose when removing the glove, I had damp hands. The fit for palm width (and associated finger length) is as per guide with no bunching/excess material at finger ends, however to get that snug fit it makes the wrist band narrow where most of the issue is when trying to take them off. I will have to see how i get on over winter in the cold to know if i want to keep them through winter or purchase something else.
If you are buying these gloves I would go for 2 sizes bigger than you are. I went for one bigger and they were too small.
Finding gloves that fit well is not simple. 4th time of trying with SBS, as always, happy to assist in shop and mail order. These gloves while waterproof - ridden in heavy showers, not hours of torrential rain, suffer a common problem: the inner lining comes loose and getting them back on especially at Customs/Doune is a real faff!
Would I buy another pair? No, I'll keep searching for the Holy Grail (Gore tex waterproof, insulated for spring/autumn and long enough cuffs to velcro close over a touring jacket sleeve) almost certainly at
SBS. Any suggestions?
Bought two pairs, one for me, one for my wife after getting a good soaking riding round Normandy in cheaper ones. These are so much better, good quality, high level of protection yet very light and good dexterity. Haven't tried them in a downpour yet and I suspect for very hot weather they might be too warm but for everything in between they are the best gloves I've worn on the bike.
Very happy.
Called in to the shop with cold fingers, searched with the guy in the shop and found these Gore-Tex gloves for a great price, recommended
I've only used it a few times and it seems to be a glove for early spring or autumn
Hands get a tad cold when the temps 6-10c
And too hot 15c+
Not tried it in the rain yet but I do have high expectations reading the other reviews.
I thought it was going to be a thick winter glove but it's not at all, fits well and I needed a lighter glove anyway. I'd buy it again
