Barkbusters Storm Replacement Handguards Barkbusters Storm Replacement Handguards
I've used Barkbusters on several bikes & always used the VPS shields with the extensions. This time I decided to try the Storm's & overall I like them better as they deflect cold air better as they are generally bigger than the VPS's.

Off road I may continue with the VPS's but for road use in cold weather these will be my go-to from now on.

Pairs with the Barkbustwrs bars to finish the job. The three height options is handy too.
Just be careful not to overtighten the self tapping screws!

Barkbusters Two Point Mount Hardware Kit - BMW R1300GS (24-25) Barkbusters Two Point Mount Hardware Kit - BMW R1300GS (24-25)
I’ve had barkbusters before, which were great on my previous bike. However, with the BMW R1300GS, especially if you only have the front indicators fitted to the hand guards, I personally wouldn’t bother. The LED indicators that come with the kit aren’t that good, compared to the standard ones. Step down in quality in how they operate & brightness. The finished article of the wiring & connector looked cheap. There is no where to nicely tuck it away, even after using cable ties & black duct tape. The design of fitting the LED is pretty poor. Barkbuster should have just designed the plastic hand guards to incorporate the OEM indicators. Unfortunately I ended up returning the whole kit for a refund, as one of the indicators were faulty. If the product didn’t involve indicators, I would highly recommend this.

Barkbusters Two Point Mount Hardware Kit - Honda XL 750 Transalp (23-24) Barkbusters Two Point Mount Hardware Kit - Honda XL 750 Transalp (23-24)
These are well made and fit my bike well, they were easy to fit and the instructions are clear including a YouTube tutorial made by BB for my bike. The only thing is they’re taking the paint off my bars as they’re metal on metal. I should have put some tape inbetween them so I will accept responsibility on that one but I think that advice should have been included in the tutorial and instructions
