Leatt Helmets

Very good

I’m a big fan of the Leatt gloves, these being my second pair. I did question whether to get another pair after my first were beginning to wear out but then remembered the trip down to Mauritania, then the trip to Algeria and Tunisia.
They worked hard :-)

Great lightweight comfortable jacket with loads of ventilation & pockets. Comes with level 1 armour, but I swapped it out for level 2 Leatt armour. Plenty of pockets for your stuff, the only gripe here, for me anyway, is the waterproof pocket is fairly small widthwise so if you have big hands its a slight squeeze to get in there, or you can 'lift' the pocket contents up to your hand if you see what I mean, but no big deal.
Love the sleeve cuffs with zip, hook & loop adjustment, they open wide to get gloves under easy, or snug up to get gloves over, whatever you preference.
Only problem is now I have this ventilated mesh jacket, no doubt it'll rain for the foreseeable future!

At first, they were difficult to pull on, however, after wearing them for just one day,
they now fit perfectly
Sizing, for me, was spot on (XL)
Really comfortable, good grip, waterproof and not too warm in higher temperatures
Not bulky, like some waterproof gloves
The visor wipe, on the finger, is brilliant, and works really well
Good value for money

The sizing is to go over the riding jacket - so if you have a medium riding jacket, pick a medium one of these. It has nice long arms, well tailored, and decent cuffs which fit over your heavy gloves.
I have the Alpinestars AMT-8, which although it comes with a rain jacket, it's black, and I wanted something more visible, so this was perfect.
It comes with a bag made of the same material to store it in.
I haven't tested its waterproofness yet, but it rates highly, so I'm confident it'll be good.

This helmet is very comfortable. I’m a large in Shoei and Klim and a large here. It’s a pretty neutral shape too.
The helmet is light and somehow quiet too. There is padding around the front of the ears to block out some noise. There is thoughtful channeling for comms wires and a generous space for speakers.
This is a premium helmet and the price is quite high but, unlike others, this comes with goggles, a photochromatic visor and clear visor and a few spare bits and bobs (as well as a nice storage bag). So, while it is expensive, it is the complete package.
I am over the moon with the purchase and sportsbikeshop had it shipped to me next day so no waiting around. If you want to try it on I believe you can order it to your nearest store too.
