Perfect mount for a sportsbike as the Ram mount that is supplied with the TomTom satnav is not suited to bikes with clip-ons and limited alternative attachment points. A bit of a fiddle to fit and worth watching some of the Youtube videos before starting. Very good quality.

The product is a great one so 5 stars, however, there is a gap in its compatibility. My VFR has a fork stem hole of 19.4mm and it seems that Ram already know that it doesn't fit.

This is Ram's current list of bikes on which this mount won't fit:

I made it work but I had to spend a while making a rubber bung to fit in the viffers stem; not for everyone.

RAM Mount

Great bit of kit. Fitted this to my 2021 Hayabusa. Slotted very neatly into the fork mount hole. There is an accompanying imstallation video on You Tube which is definitely worth a watch. Simplistic install. Sharp knife needed to cut the stem. All good. Thanks Guys!

Would give 5 stars, but needed to use duck tape to make it the 1" at its widest, as wouldnt grab as was a couple of mm off.
Other than that, perfect for mounting sat nav on.

I know for sure that the HD version of the stem mount is more stable than this...but it costs about twice as much. This is working well for me so far, it was very easy to fit if you followed the instructions.

Mount Isn't Swivel Free

All-in-all a good attempt at creating a mount for a super sports bike. But, no matter how much you torque up the top bolt, the mount will always swivel in the fork stem. RAM needs to come up with a more grippy material or coat the rubber with something that'll grip the inside of the fork stem to stop it swivelling.

Even though I wrapped the rubber with gaffer tape & torqued it up as much as I could, the mount still swivels. It won't jump outa the stem, but, it's far from a solid fix.

Instructions are a bit rubbish but the YouTube videos available sort that. The end result is decent enough with only a little bit of movement. Done a 100 mile ride on the Tuono holding a phone cradle at speed with no issues whatsoever.

I've fitted this to my 07 cbr600rr. I found the instructions inaccurate and I don't like how the mount rotates in the stem. I'm going to try the stem mount hd which looks like a better solution.

Instructions are a bit poor but looking up how fit online helped tremendously.
