They have modified the exhaust so you no longer can take the baffler out. Does not sound any better than the original exhaust. If your after looks then yes it looks good, but sound wise its really poor. Save your money and don't bother. My horn produces more sound than this exhaust.

Not really pleased with this exhaust. If anything its quieter than the stock one which comes with the bike. When the bike is at idle you can barley hear any difference, its a teeny tiny bit lower in pitch but that's literally all you're going to get for £300+ of your money. I actually think I would of been better off buying a Mivv exhaust which more than likely sounds better and is about £100+ cheaper.
I understand that this exhaust is to be used whilst still having the Cat box fitted but I was really hoping for some kind of difference.
I contacted Scorpion to ask if they do the headers/downpipes for the XJ6 to turn it into a full system and they don't. Great. They do a full race system for a Honda CBR 125 but not for a Yamaha 600cc bike...Logic? I think not. Pretty sure I cant even return it now either as its been used for a few days so now I'm stuck with it.
Sportsbikeshop though as usual were great with delivery. No problems there at all.
Scorpion on the other hand... Nah, I wont bother again.

Really good service from the beginning. Got an email with the date of delivery and it came sooner than that. Slight fault with product on arrival but one phone call and a replacement was on the way. Thanks

Five stars for this exhaust. Sounds good with the baffle so need to remove and give that extra HP were its needed along with the K&N filter.

January 26, 2017The exhaust does not come with a removable baffle as the bike is fitted with a catalytic converter.
