BOA system failed

Having bought the boots and worn them regularly for about 6 weeks the BOA lace system failed. I was unable to release the BOA system and ultimately had to cut the metal lace to allow me to get out of the boot..... Believe me I tried all options before doing this. I videod this and sent to SBS who have liaised with Alpinestars and I am now being refunded fully. Excellent customer support from SBS. Had I been on a tour when this happened then as there is no other way to secure the boot it would have been a big safety issue. Its a big let down as the boots were really comfortable to wear BUT I cannot recommend these to anyone.
