This is a superb jacket, excellent quality and look great on and off the bike. Very light and with the thermal under jacket it is super warm. Very versatile and can vouch for its waterproofing. I wanted a jacket that didn t look like a motorcycle jacket and this is spot on. I like the fact that it s comfortable with a T-shirt under without the thermal jacket and I can layer it up with whatever suits my needs. Great service as usual from Sportsbikeshop.

Really light comfortable waterproof and warm. Perfect for commuting and the detachable inner jacket is a brilliant standalone jacket for indoors or out on cold dry days. Love the fabric and the look. Hasn't got all the bells and whistles of more expensive kit but at half price I'm over the moon.

Almost my perfect jacket

This is a great jacket that with a few tweaks could be brilliant. I've worn in several heavy downpours and not one drop of water has come through. The removable liners comfy and very warm. However, the liner could do with a few more poppers to hold it in and the ones on the cuffs need to be a couple of inches further up the arm as the popper comes of every time I put gloves on. My biggest issues the magnetic closer at the top as it keeps popping open. But that's it, apart from that I can't fault it. I'm a 43"chest and the XL fits perfectly with room for a thin jumper if needed.

Bought this specifically to be used both on the bike and when going for walks/ up the city. It is warm , light and comfy. I especially like the separate fleece.
I would have liked a better internal pocket for my wallet. It is just a flimsy item hanging off the internal liner. Also maybe a couple of inches longer in the coat length but this is only when off the bike after all this is a motorcycle jacket.
Overall I can recommend this as a very good do it all jacket especially at the discounted price. Service as always from SBS very prompt.

With the colder weather drawing closer I decided to opt for a jacket that would suit me best with lower temperatures and likely rain. The outer jacket has already handled some downpours well and the inner thermal layer has proven warm. Another plus is the jacket is nicely styled and not too bulky that I can wear it happily away from the bike too

This jacket is by far some of the most impressive bits of kit I've seen in a long time. Every tiny detail is so well thought out. Protective from road to weather, super comfy and most of all looks great.
Everytime I suit up I check myself out for further gratification, love everything about it.
Super warm and comfy during the winter, fits great, Waterproof, plenty of utility in terms of storage pockets also looks great... what more could you want?

The Jagger jacket is one of the longer Merlin products and can be worn on weekend blasts as well as shorter commutes with both on and off-the-bike styling. Built using a premium 10k waterproof and 10k breathable Tactel laminate, rain instantly beads off the garment, preventing water soak. Inside the jacket is a stand-alone synthetic down jacket, with a 500 power fill rating. Armour comes in the form of D3O's highly ventilated LP1 shoulder and elbow, with provision for a back protector. Despite the casual styling, the Jagger is CE-certified to level AA.
