Finally gave in and bought these heated gloves.
Firstly follow the hand size guide it works…so first impressions were the quality, really nice leather and construction especially the waterproof zip housing the batteries .
Superb bit of craftsmanship.

So charged the batteries (can take a while) and wore them on my commute.
Temp was around 3degress Celsius initially didn't turn them on just to get a feel.
At traffic lights pressed both buttons which is easy to do and yup they started to warm up.
They're not overly hot even on full setting but 100% you will not feel the cold.
I'm very pleased with these gloves and should really have bought a pair sooner.

Is that I won't be able to wear these in summer.
They're really comfortable and in the cold climbs of the grim North West, I've not had a moment where I've even felt the need to turn them up past the lowest of 3 heat settings.
Generally speaking, they provide enough of a shield from the cold even without the heating on at all, so I feel confident that these could tackle all but the absolute coldest of environments.

The only reason they're a 4 then, is because they don't have a palm slider. Considering they're for cold (and therefore potentially less than ideal) conditions, it seems like this would be a reasonable addition.

Great price Great quality and fit is ok (know from previous experience to order at least one size larger and in Merlin two!) keeps hands warm but not hot! Ideal! Feel a bit bulky initially but you get used to it pretty quickly!

The gloves are comfortable and the 3 heat settings are good I have not yet need to use the highest setting.Chage the batteries via the USB lead supplied
