Great jacket that definitely keeps you cooler in hot weather, just be aware that once the temperatures drop in the afternoon it does not keep you warm, it’s definitely a hot weather jacket.
You will need a back armour protector to slide in but I just used the one out of my usual jacket.

It's cool, both looks and more importantly, when riding in hot weather. I like the lightness as well.

Brilliant summer jacket from RST. I ordered this and the Rev'it version to try on (usual excellent service from Sportsbikeshop) and the RST was miles ahead of the Rev'it mesh jacket. The fit is great (this actually fits a normal sized person and doesn't have the usual extended waist line and oversized gut area) and it looks really good. Quality armour at the shoulders & elbows (I moved the elbow pads up for a more comfortable fit) with space for a back protector. On the bike the mesh system works extremely well. I wore the Spectre on the hottest day in June (34 degrees) and had no issues at all. It felt like wearing just a t-shirt. Very highly recommended.

I was looking for a jacket to wear in summer, I usually wear an RST Axis CE Jacket but it is a sweatbox in really hot weather. This jacket gives a nice cooling feeling when moving & it doesn't get overly sweaty when stationary. I found I needed to go a size up from the size I have with the RST Axis CE Jacket. Definitely a nice summer jacket for a reasonable price. I swap the back armour from my other RST Jacket, saves me buying another one.

I love this jacket. Great for when it gets hot outside. I bought the back armour to match for £25 so I’m also happy to wear it at motorway speeds now and again but I prefer to keep light fabrics to town riding. It’s also not flashy at all so can be worn if you’re out somewhere and you don’t scream biker to everyone around you. Good price too.

I had put off buying one of these as I was a little unsure. But after riding home one day in my old jacket and having sweat drip off me, I went to get one. On the first ride I was amazed by how much air gets through keeping you cold and even on morning runs before it gets hot I arrive cool and not cold. It has practical pockets and pads in the elbows and shoulders. I did buy a back protector for extra protection. I wish I bought one sooner

Very effective at letting air flow and the inner lining doesn't make you sweat (as I find with many man-made materials). Cuffs are a little too small even fir my small wrists. Fit was a little too snug so I went up a size - excellent replacement service by sbs as usual.

This jacket is really lightweight and very comfortable.

Great jacket, a perfect fit and very comfortable. Let's a great deal of air to flow thru keeping you well ventilated and cool.
