Oxford Spartan Air Textile Jacket - Stealth Black

I'm 6'2" with long arms and about 106kg. It can be hard to know the sizing but the 3XL fits me very well. I tried on an alternative brand at a different shop and the 3XL sizing there was very small indeed.

Functionality of the Oxford Spartan it is great, very light and it breathes well. Pockets are big enough and the protection feels fine.

I chose SportsBike Shop as they are very fair about returns and delivery promptly.

Really pleased with this jacket. It's lightweight, really comfortable and flows plenty of air, which is perfect in the current weather. The armour feels good without being bulky, and the sizing was spot on for me, I'm normally a large and the large fitted perfectly. Considering the price, I think it offers excellent value for money. The only thing worth mentioning is that the logos on the jacket don't match the photos on the website, mine has the Oxford logo rather than the Spartan helmet shown. Not an issue for me, and I believe it's due to different manufacturing runs. Overall, it's a great jacket, and I'd definitely recommend it.

A good basic mesh jacket. Lightweight and very cool. Wore it in the last heat wave, 30 degrees plus and despite also wearing a Dainese Airvest over the top it allowed me to survive. Rode out the other evening with the temperature below 20 degrees and I was cold!

I bought this as an emergency purchase due to a trip I needed to take during very hot weather. I wear an airbag vest and needed something cool to wear under the vest.
The quality is the usual great Oxford standard. Stitching is neat and the jacket is cut well. It is cool to wear, the mesh provides great ventilation whilst holding the armour in place. I’m 6’2 and 100kg and an 2XL is a slim fit on me. Overall fantastic value.

Bought to use in Portugal as it was 35+. Kept me as cool as could be expected. It needs a back protector imo which is another £28. However for a sub £100 jacket it’s impressive.

I am 6ft 3 and 90kg and this fits me well (I have a size XL) There is enough room underneath for a fleece or something if required. The arms are quite long and the body a little shorter. (I have a long back). Since I purchased the jacket it’s rained pretty much non stop. Hoping to try it next week on the bike when weather forecast changes. If you hold the jacket up to the light you can see through it so no doubt lots of air should pass through and keep you cool.

This is a cheap way to not be tempted to ride without gear in the summer. Fits well even though I'm shaped like a Gibbon.

I’m 6,6 and average build the jackets fit well and keeps you cool in hot Weather. My usual size jackets are XXL to make it fit better I went for XXXL. The XXL was too short in the body and arm area.
The protection feels ok. But on the thin side. It is a cheap jacket so you get what you pay for. Will I buy it again. In short Yes.

Great fit. Works well with over or under gloves. Long enough to stay down at the back. As for the air flow... WOW its perfect for those hot days. allowing very comprehensive cooling. Chuck a fleece underneath or a rainseal jacket over the top and it works very well in cooler temps too. Arrived in 24 hour and fits like a glove.

Fit: I m 189cm/90kg and the XL fits comfortably with the right sleeve length.
Quality: Better than expected for the price.
Minor Con: The inner pocket liner material is a little thin/flimsy.
Verdict: Would highly recommend and buy again!

Nice colours, fits a bit smaller than I expected re ordered no problem.

I've not worn it on the bike yet, naught in the office season for a reduced price in preparation for next summer, I made the mistake of ordering the same size as my leather, but without the insulation and lining of the leather the Spartan air is a little baggy on me, but I'm ok with that as it will allow more air circulation, that for me is the whole point of it and i do sweat buckets in the summer, I'm looking forward to using it in place of the leather next summer, I'm very pleased with it.

Really good quality jacket perfect for hot weather. I am 45 inch chest and got the 2 XL which in my opinion fits right.
