First ride with the boots was from Preston to Tuscany in Italy. Really comfortable in the heat far more so than my adventure boots. Hit heavy rain in Pisa and had no trouble whatsoever. Great all round boots.

Great boots, might be a tad bulky for riding. They feel well made, gore-tex have yet to be tested, I'm sure Ireland will provide a suitable test next week. Same comment on ability to go on long walk

Meet the Redridge GTX boots. Boots with a rugged vintage flair yet with GORE-TEX waterproofing to keep you riding even in the rain.
With the Redridge GTX boots, we're implementing more technical influences to offer something newer in terms of archetypal derivatives. We've taken the utilitarian military boot silhouette and materialized it with suede leather, waterproofing, and given it a Vibram® Hype outsole. Thanks to the integration of the EVA dual density rubber midsole combination, the Redridge GTX boots are both lightweight and flexible but still casual enough that riders can easily walk in them whether that's a stop at a café or to run errands. Whether riding or walking, you still have your protective and comfort features in both scenarios.
The Heritage collection draws inspiration from what has come before, and we try to take that to heart in all aspects. Our longstanding partnership with Vibram® allowed us to create a recycled sole for Redridge GTX boots, taking what has gone before and integrating it in a new way. Furthermore, we also use recycled materials for the OrthoLite® insole.
