Great quality, effective garment.

The jacket is an excellent quality. The thin material makes it very easy to pack, taking up very little space yet, it is very effective at keeping out the wind. The jacket is designed to be worn as a midlayer, underneath a jacket but I prefer to wear it over my jacket making it more convenient to remove when the temperature rises later in the day. A really well made piece of kit.

Nice thin wind cheater type wind stopper.

I waz dubious about these thin jackets as they are a lot of money for what it is just basicly a wind cheater you'd wear under your mesh jacket to stop air flow on say a slightly colder ride home after a summer evening ride out. But they do work so I suppose its a essential peice of kit for that. It folds down real small too and although I looked around there doesn't seem to be anything simlar on the market unless you go thicker. Where I had problems is the klim sizing. Being a tall rider (6 ft 4") I need good sleeve length and also body length too but the klim sizing as i found with all their stuff is made for clowns. What they could do with on this jacket is a slightly longer length on the back like on mountain bike clothing jackets as the body length isnt the longest. To combat this I jump up a size so instead of a xl I go with the xxl wich for me makes the body slightly to big but gives a tad more in sleeve length and also body length but not much. The only saving grace is the hem has a draw string wich saves it. I will say the draw string toggle does not hold it tight though and have had to change mine for a better one as they all seem to come loose. It was the same on the xl when I tried that size too. But all that aside it works so great peice of kit but a tad over priced for what it is. Got a good deal at sportsbikeshop though as always so well chuffed.

I wasn’t totally convinced about this when it turned up but after trying it out with my Klim Marrakesh it really does make a big difference in the wind. Folds up nice and small so easy to carry on the bike to use if required. Great!

First size - I normally buy XL tops. The Zephyr XL was way too big -- Large fits perfectly.
Worn it several times since purchase and it is a superb wind breaker.
No pouch but it folds up/ scrunches up, into a tiny ball.

This jacket is so thin and light, I thought they had forgotten to put it in the box. But I have found it really useful as an extra layer to use when I'm wearing a mesh jacket and the temperature drops. Just put it on underneath and block out the chill. It's also good for keeping heat in when you wear it under a regular bike jacket, but over a thermal layer. It packs up so small that you can take it everywhere as a "just in case" option. Really useful.

Lightweight wind proof designed to be worn under your riding jacket. Bought mainly for cool summer morning and evenings where lightweight summer kit can be too cold. Folds up small so easy to carry and fits well. I find that Kim riding jackets have too long arms, suitable for orangutans, but this seems a more normal fit.

I bought this from a recommendation from a friend and it certainly hasn't disappointed. Not only is it crazy thin, but its super warm too. There is no weight to it at all and you hardly notice that you are wearing it, but in really cold weather over a t-shirt and under my Nivala, it kept me toastie warm. Highly recommended indeed!

Bought as a layer for Uber a Knox Shield Hoodie. Only minor gripes are neck and cuffs could do with more adjustment to keep draughts out..

Great piece of kit. True to size. They are only thin but keep you warm and definitely keeps the wind off. Great for using under mesh style or thinner Jackets to keep the cold at bay.

Packs pretty small, extremely lightweight and thin but definitely helps to stay warm enough when the temp drops when wearing my Klim Baja (which shifts a lot of air)
Good product!

I bought the Zephyr to provide a bit of extra wind proofing under my mesh jacket, it worked very well and can be packed up into a very small package. I note the other reviews mention the lack of a stuff sack, however you can pack the jacket into its own sleeve which acts as a stuff sack, simples.

It's Klim - so you know it's going to be both expensive, but generally extremely high quality. This Klim Zephyr Wind Shirt is no exception.
Let's address the elephant in the room - the price. At £90 - £100, this IS expensive. However you should really treat it as a liner for your main jacket - only it's a liner you can scrunch up into a ball the size of a small melon and stash when not in use.
Right now we're late spring - so early mornings have a chill (12-14 degrees) and afternoons are nice (20+). For me, this wind shirt allows me to commute in my Marrakesh jacket which I adore for comfort - on the way into work I wear this to keep the chill off, and on the way home I don't. It's perfect!
Keep it stashed until you need it and then throw it on under your jacket. It has no bulk at all so 'costs nothing' over your clothing.
It's well made, with the usual Klim quality of course. It feels very high quality in the hands and despite being super light weight, I think it will last a long time if looked after.
Highly recommended, despite the price.

A simple yet highly effective addition to the riding wardrobe. I keep it in the tail-pack for when things get a bit chilly. Super small when folded, so it's very easy to stow away. Works very well; I use with all my jackets suits to great effect. Well worth the money.
