I had originally reserved some other Merlin air hoodies but when I saw this in store it immediately won me over. There’s a few extras this has that the cheaper ones didn’t. Not to mention this feels much more premium. The only downside side is it’s a very very warm air mesh jumper. When you are riding it does the job and I feel like I’m wearing a t shirt. But 10 seconds at the lights and I can feel I’m melting.

Technically innovative and relaxed urban at the same time. The Brecken hoody has the casual style thought combines 3D air mesh panels with solid cotton panels to provide strategic breathability. Brecken also features a double front zip which allow riders to add ventilation along the centre front when temperatures rise. Despite the casual style and mesh, Brecken is a CE 'AA' rated riding garments with D3O® armour pre-fitted, a snap back rear hood, pre-curved sleeves and a detachable hood.
