I've recently had both hips replaced and felt it was time to get some hip armour. This looked to be flexible and not too bulky. I put it into my bullit cargo pants and went for a ride. Amazing I really couldn't tell they were there. I hope I never need their protection but I'm sure they'll work well. Great product.
