Resurgence D3O IP Ghost Knee & Hip Armour Upgrade Kit - CE Level 2

At the suggestion of the SBS assistant I upgraded to these from the foamy lumps that came with the jeans I was considering buying.
Light, flexible, unobtrusive and cool.

These are fantastically light and unobtrusive, absolutely incredible that they're rated for CE level 2

So comfortable, transforms your jeans. The wife tried the first set ordered, that was it, second set ordered.

This is my 2nd purchase of this item to go in my summer gear, it's soooo comfie you don't know it in there, not sweaty either 5/5 from me, I have got other brands but this in my opinion is the best.

I am such a big fan of the ghost armour, it really is so light you forget you have it on.
When you compare to normal level 2 armour, the difference is staggering.

This armour is excellent and slim. You would hardly know it was even there. I bought this to replace bulky foam armour that was supplied with my jeans and makes them alot more comfortable to wear.

I wanted some less bulky armour for my jeans so I can wear all day.
These are very thin you don't even know they are there, not tested them in anger, and hope I never do, but reassuring knowing they are there.

These are really comfy and you don't really know they are there. My trousers now look like normal trousers. They let the breeze through too so you don't get hot knees.

I wanted something that still offered excellent protection but not as bulky and these are amazing. I ended up getting them for my partner too and replacing in all my clothing…

Really solid protection, definitely a step up when compared to level 1 armour. The only thing to bear in mind is I couldn't fit the hip armour in my Rev'it Lombard jeans - the knee inserts went in fine but the hip inserts are pretty wide.
I'll use them in other jeans but I'd say make sure the armour pockets in your riding jeans are wide in order to fit these in.

I've been meaning to buy a set of Ghost level 2 hip and knee armour for sometime as have always found the original set supplied with my RST Pro jeans excellent protection but really bulky and obvious. The Ghost armour is not such a great fit in the hip pockets but feel and look much more comfortable and less obvious to the eye when worn. I do worry that it will afford me the same level of protection as feel too lightweight compared to the RST originals but trusting in the CE level 2 rating that it does what it says on the tin. Road tested on a 660 mile road trip to North Wales last weekend and very comfortable. After all in all happy with my purchase so far.

Bought to upgrade a Richa Infinity Pro 2 jacket.
Slightly thicker than the Level 1 Ghost Armour (obviously) I have in my jeans but still way thinner & more comfortable than the included Level 1 D30 armour. Straightforward to swap over & seems to be a good fit.
Time will hopefully never tell how good it is but it's a definite improvement.
Not cheap but you get what you pay for as well as the usual excellent service from Sportsbikeshop too.

Fast delivery. This level 2 armour feels similar to level 1. The higher spec gives peace of mind. Easy to fit too.
