It depends on the shape

I used it to avoid buying a big rack for my off road bike, so be careful about the shape of your exhaust. Mine is 'square' and it fits well in the corner where I need to protect my bag, but I also wonder if this will fit nicely all shapes and forms.
Overall, very happy with it. I wanted something to give me a peace of mind and I got it right

Bought the Oxford p50r panniers for my KTM 890 SMT which has a high exhaust so needed this to stop it touching and it does the job perfectly

Oxford's Can Exhaust Shield offers thermal protection by deflecting radiated exhaust heat and guards against your luggage from accidentally touching a hot exhaust system.
The Can Guard Shield is supplied with an adjustable clamp so it can be fitted to a variety of different sized exhaust pipe diameters.
