Advice & Guides You'd be surprised how many riders wear a helmet that's too big for them. Here's how to tell if a lid really fits you...
My 1st premium helmet and not at all disappointed. Soft cushioning pads. Pretty decent in terms of low noise. Looks the part. Dark visor is decent even in low light.
Comfortable from day 1, fits very well build quality is spot on and vent system is very good , replaced my previous Nolan with one of these and have no complaints whatsoever
Looks ultra cool especially with the free dark visor fitted. Helmet feels fairly light , the drop down inner visor is easy to use although it could be a tad darker in bright sunshine. Initially I thought the fit was too tight especially when pulling it onto my head , now though it has become easier and fits my head shape perfectly. Great value too
The Helmet is understated in colour, but is exactly what I wanted, and surpasses all expectations. The fit, the comfort and finish are exemplary, well good Helmet.
This helmet is light, comfortable and pretty quiet.
The finish is excellent and vents work well.
It's ideal for all riding positions but having a supernaked, I feel the wind, and this helmet has quietened this down a bit when compared to my previous lid (Still use earplugs mind).
All in all a great all-round lid, great value in the sale and comes with a free race visor
Helmet is fantastic. So quiet compared to my last AVG one and looks slick. Love it
One of the best helmets I ve ever purchased fits great and looks great to
This is one of the best helmets I have bought over the last 20 years , the quality is second to none, a good fit and very comfortable would highly recommend
Great looking carbon finish and a great match for my bike which is what counts
After many years wearing Shoei, they have become way too expensive in my view so I was looking for an alternative and I think I've found it. The quality and build is fabulous with some really neat features. Visor is pre fitted with what I believe is Nolans own version of a Pinlock, plus the box includes a dark race visor. Feels very comfortable. It's a bit heavier than I was expecting but it's actually the same weight as Shoei GT Air 3, consequence of 22-06 safety standards I suppose. Not yet used on road as weather has been poor so cannot comment of that yet.
This helmet has fit perfectly from day 1. The lining is extremely comfortable. Everything works as it should, and it has some interesting features with the magnetic visor. I think for budget carbon helmet it is top quality, and the colour scheme is a great addition as well. The classic d-ring fixing is as good as it needs to be. As a glasses wearer I found the helmet does not ventilate very well with the visor down at standstill, but when you're on the move it seems to work fine. I will likely leave the chin guard at home to help improve ventilation.
Amazing helmet extremely comfortable there is hardly any wind noise and it doesn’t leak throw the ear vents when it rains amazing quality and for money it’s just a shame it was dropped and I’m just waiting for insurance to pay out and will definitely get again
Great helmet, very comfortable
Great service by Sportsbikeshop as usual, ordered a Medium and a Large to be delivered to my local store next day, tried them both on to find the best fit. The helmet looks great, fits great, little wind noise, and came with a race visor as well. Very happy with purchase.
The helmet is so light & quiet. Really comfortable from the off, sun visor works great. Vents allow lots of air through to your head & visor. I have ridden in strong winds on my naked sports bike, & no movement from the helmet what so ever. Vision out of the helmet is amazing, sides & rear. Well recommended.
Ut is great looking , comfortable , very well made and ventilates well
The helmet feels light but solid, and the fit is snug without being tight. The magnetic quick-release visor system is one of my favourite features; it makes switching visors super fast and hassle-free. Ventilation is strong, keeping things cool even on warmer rides, and the internal sun visor drops down smoothly without pressing on my nose like others I’ve tried.
The liner is comfortable, breathable, and easy to adjust. I also like how wide the field of vision is, and the included Pinlock does a solid job preventing fog.
If I had to point out one downside, it’s that wind noise at higher speeds is a bit more noticeable than on some bulkier touring helmets. Not a deal-breaker for me, but something to keep in mind.
Overall, really happy with the Nolan X‑903. It strikes a good balance between comfort, features, and protection.
After 30 years of wearing Arai's I wanted a drop down visor. I've always found other helmets didn't have the plush, quality feel and fit of an Arai when you put them on your head. The Nolan runs is pretty much there. Can't fault it so far and the drop down visor is a gamechanger after years of using sunglasses.
