Oxford Rainseal All Weather Over Trousers - Fluorescent Yellow

Brilliant trousers, great quality.

The biggest problem with waterproof over trousers is putting them on...getting your boots through the legs, when it's blowing a holly, pouring with rain and you're hopping by the side of the road. You don't want to take your helmet off and your gloves and hands are soaked...
But these over trousers are excellent and easy to slip on. Maybe it was because they are bigger than I need, but the boots slip easily down the wide legs and the gusseted and zipped leg bottoms.
One down side is the fineness of the zip...which invariably catches some of the gusseting and seizes. You have to be careful and slip your finger along before the zip to avoid snagging....which can't they just have a velcro flap not he inside and a meaty zip on the outside.
Ideally I would have bought a 2XL...but I was in a hurry and SBS only had 4XL in stock. No problem...just a bit baggy....but visible from a hundred miles.

Just completed my first iron butt challenge, 1058 miles in less than 24hrs. Rained solid for 5 hrs. These pants never met any water in at all so very happy with that. My only criticism would be the zips on the legs, they're small and fiddly, could do with being bigger and easier to use with gloves on

Good product, large size so go smaller when you purchase. Easy to get on and off even when wet.

Had to get the yellow as the black wasn't available in XL.
The XL is bigger than I thought it would be, & I nearly returned for an L. But then again, I might need them to go over my padded leathers sometime, so left it. Very well thought out for this price point. The long side zips help with getting on over boots ect. Take it easy zipping them up, the inner overlap can get caught.

Done 3 long rides in the rain wearing a one piece suit recently. Painful to get on and off so bought Oxford separates.
Easy to get on and off and look fine but not had rain to try them out recently.

These trousers are so good they stopped it raining in the South East for six weeks. So really I don't know if they will keep me dry

The gear does what it says on the tin. It's hi vis, easy to slip on and keeps you dry. Sportsbikeshop do have their business model worked out to a T - I do believe they are the best retailer for online purchasing of riding gear in the UK

Decent quality for the price point. They work, keep you dry. Although I chose yellow for the visibility, I would probably not again. They are a magnet for dirt. First wear the splash marks from puddles has had them looking like a 5 year old pair of waterproof pants within an hour. The marks will never come out. This doesn't affect performance of course. The shape is well thought out, loose where you need them to be, which makes it easier getting on and off the bike but tighter elasticated around the ankles. Overall good value for money for a product that does its job well.

I ordered a size too large and they exchanged within a few days. Really pleased with the service provided.
I will definitely recommend you to my friends in the future. The garment is great, tried them out in the rain really pleased.

Bought this to go with the Oxford over jacket, got caught in heavy motorway rain and no soggy crotch !!
Never gonna be a fashion statement but it keeps me dry and visible
Both live in my rucksack just incase !!

Having so called waterproof clothing leaving me with wet patches, I didn't want to spend a fortune on laminated clothing for how often I get caught in rain. Previously had the jacket version to match these trousers and that was excellent. Price was discounted at time of purchase. Not used as yet but initial thoughts don't give me any fears that they won't keep me dry. Knocked it down a mark as the long zip at the side of legs does easily trap material when closing or opening

Be seen- stay dry

Since I bought these I have been caught in two downpours and these with the matching jacket have kept me dry. The zips on the legs open far enough to allow you to get them on over your boots. When zipped up they fit well and are not too baggy.
