You'd be surprised how many riders wear a helmet that's too big for them. Here's how to tell if a lid really fits you...
Exactly as you expect in every way, everything you could need or want in a helmet, I cant see a single problem. I THINK THIS MAY BE THE BEST AVAILABLE and it’s a fraction of the price you will be for this spec with other manufacturers. Best all round value for money undeniable
Good looking helmet well vented worth the money
Done near 1000mile since owning the helmet and so far so good wind noise is minimal fit is comfortable I usually get XL and this helmet is true to size visor can be a bit fiddly to replace but managed it eventually all in all a good purchase
Fantastic finish, the gloss carbon looks great. Not too quiet, engine and road noise suppressed but seems to be replaced by wind noise whether vents open or closed. Not overly intrusive. As others have mentioned about buckle, I don't find it too far back but with the plush padding around the base of helmet and the bulky ratchet buckle does seem to push it against your larynx. Not an issue and im sure it will loosen and bed in with the miles. Love the amount of secure padding and perfect fit with no pressure points (oval shape). Can highly recommend this helmet if you or ok with the fit around the base of the helmet and strap.
Comfortable, light & quiet! Also looks good.
Coming from a Shoei which of course costs normally in price, you can feel that certain components don't quite have the same quality.
I went for this helmet as it fits my long oval head and although it still leaves certain marks on my forehead, it's the only helmet out of all I have tried out at Sportbikeshop (I literally tried them all) that I can bear.
The helmet is light and overall good value for what you are paying, the only thing I cannot make peace with is that little square in the middle of your visor which seems to me like the poorest choice any manufacturer can go for.
Overall happy with my purchase and a massive thanks to the staff at the Birmingham shop for putting up with me over 3 separate occasions whilst I was browsing through the selection and trying on different helmets!
Superb light helmet. Good fit for me and spookily light weight.
As others have noted, the control for the sun visor is right where you want your intercom, but it doesn't interfere with my Cardo.
Very pleased.
Its good light and comfortable helmet. I had a problem to by some for my wife. This is perfect for her.
The list of top features is long. A lightweight, stylish helmet that is comfortable and more quiet than my Vector C Carbon it replaced. LS2 helmets are superb value, I have two and my wife has one too.
Many years ago, I had an Arai helmet which was an excellent fit for my long oval head. After a break from biking for a few years, I bought a new helmet from a different manufacturer, which was initially comfortable, but after about an hour caused pressure on my temples and became very uncomfortable. It took a total of three visits to two branches of Sportsbikeshop to eventually settle on this LS2 Vector2. As advised, I wore it indoors for 45 minutes or so without any pain, so ventured out on my bike for a two hour ride. It does feel a little snug on my cheeks, but fits my head shape perfectly, with no distracting pressure exerted on my temples. Ventilation seems effective, too and the helmet came with a pin lock insert and an illegally dark tinted visor in the box. Being carbon, it's also quite light and well featured for the price. Visor removal and refitting to fit the Pinlock insert, following a YouTube video, was fairly pain free, too. The only downside is it's slightly noisy, so effective earplugs are a necessity, but if you have a similar, long oval head shape to mine, this comes highly recommended.
