LS2 Helmets

I was in the market for a decent mid range helmet and this ticks every box and more. Most importantly, it looks fantastic with a Matt carbon finish. As my 3rd helmet this is the only one were I can actually feel the airflow from the vents. It’s comes with a smoked visor and pin lock insert included and it also comes with a nice helmet backpack.

Bad points. The button the release the visor is ever so slightly fiddly and I would say it’s just as noisy as my old budget helmet.

Overall! What you actually get for your money is fantastic value. I would buy again if I had to.

For years I've been riding either with a full face or open face helmet depending on the weather or type of journey. I like an open face as I feel less enclosed but don't feel comfortable at speed or on a motorway. The Advant X is a great idea, in slow moving traffic or in town I can wear it open, then, as things speed up I close it. The generous, wide angle visor doesn't make me feel too confined and it's a quick simple action to open and close. Being made from carbon fibre its light to wear and gives that reassurance that it will tough and impact resistant. The build quality is great, everything feels like it is well made and well designed. I tried a few other brands before I settled on this one and they all felt cheaper, a little less ergonomic, or less comfortable. I haven't tried it in the rain yet.

My head is 59.5 and the large is perfect. It is a squeeze to get on and off but once on perfect. Very comfortable. Vents are great, goggles dont fog up.

Comfortable, quiet in comparison to my previous flip helmets, cheek pads catch my glasses when pulling helmets on, but hopefully will improve with use, I'd recommend this

Had looked at loads of adventure style helmets over the last few months, and for the price, style, and features I didn’t find anything else of comparable value and quality that fitted me anything like as well. Large range of sizes and all the features I wanted. But do try them on as the I feel the sizing is on the small size . For me, it’s as comfortable as my shoei neotech. Wind noise is fine ( I do wear earplugs) and it’s only over 70 that you feel the peak and even then it’s not bad at all. That’s with a low screen too.
I think it’s a great lid. Big thumbs up.
