Knox Orsa Textile OR4 Gloves - Grey

Bought to replace my aging Knox Handroid gloves, these are now my new favourite. Superb quality, perfect t fit (for me), comfortable and well ventilated, not too bulky. 100% recommend.

There short summer (two season) weight gloves are very comfy from the off....and being a great fan of the boa system, close and secure just right for me. Highly recommended.

I have an old pair of Knox gloves, love the feel of these you forget you have them on. My only criticism is the boa system is different direction on each glove.

This purchase was prompted by a very positive review in MCN. Vegan-friendly, these CE-approved [vented] gloves from Knox have proved their effectiveness in the latest heatwave, with subtle perforations in the fingers aiding airflow. Protection is provided by finger and knuckle armour, reinforced palms and scaphoid sliders. Fastening is by Boa, rather than velcro. Not cheap by any means, but good value nevertheless.

Sizing comes up a bit small, so it's worth considering the next size up. In doing so, they fitted perfectly. Recommended.

Bought these gloves unknowingly the day before I crashed badly and broke both arms. Theses gloves saved my hands from any serious damage…my fingers only suffered bruising. Honestly I will not wear any other gloves now and tell everyone I can how good they are for protection.

The fit was a little tight so I sent back to exchange for a larger size. Really pleased with these gloves and great service from sportsbikeshop as usual!

Does it do what I expected?
Absolutely. These gloves completely deliver on what you'd expect from a premium textile glove, actually exceeding my expectations when it comes to the sheer level of comfort and overall protection.

Superb Fit & Comfort: They offer a beautifully snug, comfortable fit right out of the box and breathe incredibly well on the move.

Top-Tier Protection: For a textile glove, the armor and protection placement feel robust and exactly where you need them.

Great Control: The grip on the throttle is excellent, giving you a really connected feel.

Boa System: The mechanism for tightening the gloves is fantastic — quick, precise, and secure.

Dislikes:
Sizing Runs Small: The sizing feels a bit between brackets. I went for an XL, but they definitely run smaller than most standard XL gloves. If you are on the boundary, you'll likely want to try a size on either side to get the perfect fit.

The Price Tag: They are definitely on the expensive side. However, when you stack them up against what else is out there at this price point, you can absolutely argue that their premium positioning is justified.

Firstly size up I’m normally a large size 9 but I had to go up a size because the fingers are a bit short. The BOA mechanism is brilliant, and the ventilation is amazing especially in the summer. They do take a bit of getting used to because of the sliders on the heel of your hand. All in all very happy with the gloves.

Gloves look great. Not too aggressive, not too traditional. Just a nice, modern summer glove. Very comfortable
Minimal insulation in the fingers makes operating switchgear a breeze. However, very cold/sore thumbs at temperatures under 6°C. These aren't marketed as Winter gloves, so not really a negative.
Sized perhaps a touch on the small side. I'm usually a medium/large. These do the job in a large, but I sometimes find myself feeling like an XL would have been a better choice.

I tried on many gloves at SBS and these fitted my hand shape the best, with great flexibility and feel. They provide an ideal combination of protection and breathability for the summer.

Very comfortable gloves, high quality materials in the product, great level of protection and keep cool in very hot weather.

I live in Malaysia where it is very hot & humid all year round and the gloves do not cause significant sweaty hands.
