Kriega Hydrapak Heavy Duty Reservoir - 2 Litre

A decent sized water container that distributes weight equally and doesn’t take up too much space in my Kriega R15.

I have a full face Shoei NXR2 and the nozzle/tube fits under the chin bar so I can drink on the move.

Kriega claims the insulated tube prevents the water sitting in it from warming up - unfortunately the water still warms up meaning the first mouthful isn’t particularly nice.

The Velcro fastener keeps the drinking tube in place even when riding at high speed. The bladder is easy to open and fill and you can turn it inside out to clean and dry. The tube easily detaches from the main body.

It is a quality piece of kit and obviously fits well into Kriega back packs, however it feels quite expensive (£55) for what it is and not as insulated as claimed so I’ve knocked a star off.

Ultimately, with the warmer summers, especially on a long riding day, it is a very important piece of kit to keep hydrated and maintain concentration whilst riding.

Insulated tube prevents drinks freezing or overheating. Hoping to use on Kilimanjaro
