As you'd expect given it's for the T7 ... once the spools are fitted it takes mere seconds to mount / dismount the whole thing, which is handy really as once mounted, the bags themselves are not so easy to remove and
leave the base in place. A minor complaint for what is essentially a brilliant design. So far no QC issues unlike another Kriega item I've got. Fitting is straight forward and well documented. Just make very sure you use some form of PPF on the bike's side panels though !
Riding buddies have commented that it bounces around a little but no more so apparently than the Givi Canyon
I'd used previously.

Fits the Tenere 700 perfectly. I used some clear vinyl protection on the bikes panels to prevent damage/scratching. This is advised by Kriega. At the moment I have two OS-12 bags fitted and they are great. Fitting is very easy and it takes seconds to remove from the bike.

Kriega OS Base - Yamaha Tenere 700
The OS-Base is an 'over the seat harness' which allows OS-6, OS-12 or OS-18 Adventure Packs to be mounted as soft panniers. No additional frames are required, this system provides a super-tough, lightweight carrying solution for the Tamaha Tenere 700 with no drilling or permanent bodywork alterations to the bike.
The modular design enables you to modify your luggage set-up to suit your ride - from a day's single track to longer moto-camping adventure trips.
The Tenere bolt-on loops included attach to the bike's subframe under the seat and provide four optional hook-on points. Used in conjunction with the additional loops on the OS-Base they provide various mounting points for a three or more bag set-up, or can be used to mount an OS-Pack as a stand-alone tail pack without the OS-Base.
The set length straps make mounting a breeze and the purpose-designed main body shape provides a tight, secure fit with plenty of distance from the exhaust. It takes less than a minute to mount the system to the bike and just seconds to remove it.
