Shad E09CLP Click System Expandable Tank Bag - 5-8L

Great little tank bag, enough roon for essentials like waterproof trouser and and spare gloves

I’m a big fan of Shad and this tank bag was an upgrade with the phone mount, which is really what I bought it for. When your phone is inside the holder, the phone works with no problems - however, removing your phone from the case is ridiculously difficult as the phone screen sticks to the plastic and trying to remove it takes a lot of patience & effort to get it out! I have small hands & still struggle to get a grip on the phone to pull it out as the opening of the case is also very small. Not shad’s greatest product - a real shame, but other than the removal of the phone, it’s still a great tank bag.

Researched these products from various manufacturers and felt this was the best quality and feature combination. Can fit puncture repair kit, disk lock and helmet lock alongside a few bits and bobs. Need to watch weight as total contents is recommended at only 2KG.
A little tricky to fit clasp as instructions are photos only. Recommend you cover petrol filler hole before fitting. Remove existing petrol tank fitting clasp and then add the (extra to buy) replacement clasp. Loosely tighten all screws before final assembly.
Once fitted, clips on/off easily to refuel. Phone/map cover doesn't seem to seal properly on my case, may need additional attention. Comes with waterproof cover for serious downpours. Leave mine on all the time. Kawasaki Ninja 7.
