Advice & Guides You'd be surprised how many riders wear a helmet that's too big for them. Here's how to tell if a lid really fits you...
Had this helmet a couple of weeks now. It's a really nice lid with some simple, well thought out features.
Firstly, it's surprisingly quiet. Much better than my old LS2 Adventure helmet. The chin curtain helps here. You get very little lift happening at motorway speeds in my experience.
The quick release visor is very clever and makes cleaning dead easy. Not having to remove it to run goggles though is a brilliant touch. It's shaped in such a way that the straps don't interfere with the visor. A set of goggles is included too so it's a good option when you're after a bit more air flow.
The visor itself is good, however I would have liked the very first indent position to be just cracking the visor open. Instead it's maybe 15mm open which is quite a bit if you want to just keep it clear. You can kind of get it just cracked open if you're careful but hit a big bump and it's closed again. Also, there is no sun visor so that's kind of a shame, but tinted goggles are the thing to have here.
You can take it on and off without fully releasing the d-strap but I've yet to learn the technique to do it without sometimes scratching my head with the buckle. Sometimes I get it though.
All in all, a really nice, simple, well made and well thought out helmet. Very good for on and off road riding. Recommended.
Very good Helmet, feels very light on and the visor is huge. Shame no pinlock included but the 120xlt pinlock for the adv 8.5/9.5 fits perfect. The button clip on the neck fastner is a bit annoying with gloves on. Airflow is amazing, both vents really make a difference and noise isnt too bad either.
Great helmet and true to size . Fits great . Quiet . No wind . Great visibility .
