Alpinestars Supertech R7 - A-Core Gloss Black / White / Red

Engineered to perform on the track and the road, the lightweight S-R7 Helmet combines advanced aerodynamics, optimised airflow and cutting edge materials and Alpinestars patented PLASMA technology for superior protection performance. This helmet is also engineered to be seamlessly integrated with A-Connect; Alpinestars Communications System that utilises a second generation Harman Kardon Sound System with 40mm speakers and advanced Ai-based noise-cancelling technology for the ultimate in aural pleasure.

Outer Shell
Homologated to ECE 22.06 and DOT standards, the S-R7's shell construction utilises highly advanced moulding technology with a multi-composite combination bonded with an advanced pre-preg epoxy resin process to maximize strength and mechanical performance. Featuring a carbon outer layer, an aramid fibre and a fibreglass layer, the shell is lightweight, yet ultra-protective. The fibreglass outer layer provides excellent strength and efficiency of energy dissipation over the shell, while the uni-directional carbon composite layer provides significantly greater radial strength around the shell, preventing compression yet allowing controlled deflection for reducing transmitted impact energy. This is then bolstered further by the aramid fibre and fibreglass layers, providing critical penetration protection. All these layers are bonded together with an advanced epoxy resin that is already applied on the pre-preg fibre.

The S-R7's aerodynamic profile design offers a smooth, streamlined shell free of any external channels and features that might act as a load point in an impact or compromise the overall integrity of the helmet's construction, and is equipped with a recess at the collarbone area that prevents the shell from coming into contact with the body in a slide, thereby significantly reducing the risk of collarbone injuries.

Inner Shell
The inner shell is made of multi-density EPS material, to permit the required impact absorption properties exactly where they are required. There are 7 different pieces, in six different densities, and each piece is strategically positioned for maximum impact energy dissipation. This energy management performance is bolstered even further with the two PLASMA collarbone sections: Alpinestars patented PLASMA technology is strategically-integrated into the SM7's collarbone cutaways for high performance shock absorption in a critical area, significantly reducing the risk of injuries.

The EPS liner, just like the outer shell, has its own unique dimension for each helmet size. The EPS surface itself is flush, and equipped with Alpinestars patented specific coating for proven rotational impact protection.

Aerodynamics
The S-R7 Helmet delivers ultra-low levels of drag, superior aerodynamic stability at high speeds, and reduced strain on the rider's neck. The S-R7 is equipped with an integrated road spoiler, devised using computer aided pressure visualization in a full scale wind tunnel, to further reduce turbulence and drag. There are also lateral winglets to further support the helmet's stability and improve aerodynamic drag.

Ventilation
The S-R7 is optimised for airflow. There are 10 ventilation ports in total; 6 intake ports including 3 in the chin guard and 3 on the top of the head that can be regulated by the slidable top vent mechanism, plus 4 exhaust ports, with 2 lateral ports on the chin bar, and 2 at the rear of the helmet.

The entire top vent section is slidable, allowing riders to slide the vent to reveal three air channels for maximum airflow and cooling performance.

A-Head Fitment System
Adding to the personalisation and custom, tailor made fit of the S-R7 is its unique and patented A-Head fitment system. The A-Head system allows the helmet to be tuned exactly to the rider's preference by having the ability to adjust both the height and angle at which the helmet sits on the head. With the micro-adjustable pad that is connected to the helmet inner EPS liner, the A-Head design allows for an ultra-specific setup that can be adapted to how deep the rider's head sits in the helmet, as well as how far forward or back it is tilted.

A-Connect Communication System Ready
The S-R7 is engineered to be seamlessly integrated with A-Connect; Alpinestars Communications System that utilises a second generation Harman Kardon Sound System with 40mm speakers and advanced Ai-based noise-cancelling technology for the ultimate in aural pleasure. The helmet is also equipped with a built-in, integrated charging point at the back of the neck section for quick and easy charging. Waterproof when mounted to the helmet's shell, the System is powered by a dual-core processing unit for unrivalled multi-taking audio performance, and has a Bluetooth and Mesh Intercom range of 1.2km in open terrain. When used as a Group intercom, the Wave Intercom is virtually limitless, while the Group Mesh Intercom itself can host 24 riders. Equipped with powerful, hi-definition speakers, the intelligent System adapts to the riding environment in real time, minimizing wind and road noise for crystal-clear voice transmission, and boasts lithium-ion battery technology for a Bluetooth intercom battery lifetime of 24 hours (17 hours for Mesh Intercom). Recharge time is just 1.5 hours.
